Lovely attentive staff, relaxed vibe around the common area. Each morning a cute breakfast ready to enjoy. Right next to the prettiest end and beach of the island. Perfect to wind down and relax.

The matress was too soft for me. But my girlfriend found it comfortable.

First of all, the kindness of the stuff and the clean rooms. The view of the ocean was nice and our room faced to east so we could see the sunrise from our window. Also the location was perfect for us. It is far from the center but close to the beach and one of the best restaurants. Oh and the best part that they got two hammocks!! You must try them out!

I liked evening considering I was working some of the days. I rented a bike to get groceries. Be aware that everything is a bit further away such as supermarket and restaurants / beach bars. One lovely restaurant is close by so if you are looking for a remote and quiet place with lots of nature around, you will love this place. For people who look for more action and entertainment within walking distance you might be disappointed. You can rent bikes at the hostel though which I did as well.

Very relaxing week spent in Porto Santo. Close to a wonderful beach, quiet and empty surroundings great for long walks at the beach. Or reading a book in the hammocks. The sunrise from the tent was magical. You could hear the sound of the waves when you fall asleep and as soon as you wake up. This stay is all you need when you want to take it very slow and treat your body and soul. On top you had all the amenities you need such as a fridge, oven, fully equipped kitchen and ice cube machine. Everything was spotless clean at all times and most importantly the staff was helpful, friendly and more than willing to share stories about the island. 100% recommended!

However the size of the room was much smaller than the 25m2 that was mentioned in the booking confirmation and we really didn't like that it was permitted to smoke on the shared terrace that was just next to all of our windows. The smoke was entering the room.

In general we liked the hostel.

Calm, relaxing and good vibes only. I spent a week here that I'll never forget. The staff is so friendly and warm. Facilities very good, and I dont feel like it missed anything. Also I was especially lucky with the group of people staying at the hostel. Safe to say this is a place to gain good memories, if youre not in a hurry. Solid 12/10 from me!

I was allowed one coffee capsule, extra euro if I wanted another, the curtain didn't quite close at the door and with the mirror in the doorway I felt a little on display.

breakfast was exceptionally good, prepared with care and presented with love. room was clean and functional, and the hostel set at a quiet end of town, my room had a great view out to sea.

The pullout bed was extremely uncomfortable.

The hybrid hostel/hotel model was very nice. Good common facilities and easy to meet other guests. Laundry and cooking facilities were really helpful to have access to. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I had an amazing time staying in Porto Santo Destination hostel! It was so calm and quiet, perfect space to wind down and especially during low season you get the ultimate perk of having basically no people at the beaches ;) Sofia the host was super friendly and helpful... couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Nice kitchen and facilities! Just keep in mind that you have to do groceries etc in the centre, as there's only a small restaurant around (which is cheap and good though). And it's a different island than Madeira itself, not everyone may know this ;)

Like it or not, the hostel vibe can be slightly more “noisy” than a closed hotel. But it isn’t a negative factor as everyone was respecful and stopped the noise at a decent time.

The hotel is very clean with a beautiful terrasse with a sea view. The Staff was very nice and the surroundings are like paradise.

Everything was perfect. The welcome from Sophia and Nunu was outstanding; the hostel is well cared for in every detail, and the cleanliness is at the highest possible levels. You can rent e-bikes and bicycles, and book excursions. The beds in the dormitory are comfortable and equipped with curtains for a bit of privacy. The value for money is really excellent. The breakfast that you can book is great, very abundant and includes fruit, vegetables, cold cuts, cheese, bread, and sweets, as well as coffee and fruit juice. The island is magical and has a really ancient history. A perfect experience. Thank you, Sophia and Nunu, for everything.

It was a perfect stay at this place in peaceful Porto Santo island - spacious, clean, with calm and friendly atmosphere and very nice other guests, great for a real vacation. For sure I recommend it and would love to come back!

The location is beautiful, its very quiet and the views are idylic. Staff are super friendly and make sure you have everything you need to make your stay an enjoyable one.

The closest bus stop is a 15 minute walk away, the bus is not frequent and runs only until 6 PM.

The bed in the dorm is very comfortable, the shared bathrooms were impeccably clean and the kitchen has all the amenities to cook any kind of meal. The staff is very nice and provides great tips and information about island.

What a gem at the quiet west-end of Porto Santo. We stayed for only one night (with my sister), arrived late, had a cider at the terrace of our room at sunset, watched the stars, loved the sound of the sea and had breakfast outside with lovely little lizards. The people working there are very nice. Looking forward to go back. Lilly and Steffi
