Huge building. Open and spacious interior. Clean and bright. Spacious dormitories had good luggage space. Each had 4 beds = 2 bunk beds. Toilet and shower facilities next door. Excellent continental breakfast = lots of choice. Staff very helpful. Loved it here.

- No public transport links to the nature or points of interest. This isn't in the control of the hostel but something to know. If you are comfortable with long hikes it would work though.

Pillows with little stuffing. Shower tray with insufficient drainage. Lack of hairdryers. Lack of TV in the room. Kitchen, living room and bathrooms shared with other guests.

Excellent location, in the city center, with easy access and close to the main attractions. With cafés, patisseries, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Reasonable breakfast. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good value for money

Everything was great except the dormitory shower needs to be maintained to make sure it drains well and the shower does not leak. Other than that everything was fantastic

great facilities with kitchen, large common areas for dining and lounge spaces both indoor and outdoor. friendly staff with many tips and information of the surrounding area.

The facilities have seen already a better time. Everything is a little outdated and needs some work. The breakfast was included, but it was all bare minimum. I still remember when Pousada de Juventude had much better conditions.

The staff working there were very nice. It was Okey for a one night sleep during our trip for its location and price.

The only thing I found inconvenient to use was the shower. The water was not hot enough. To use the shower, you have to press a button. I think this system was supposed to save water, but the water hit with such a strong pressure that instead of saving, too much water was waisted.

The hostel is spacious with lots of common areas. Breakfast included. The staff is super polite and helpful :) Unlike other places, the room wasn't cold at this season.

the shower didn´t have a glass protection so everytime we showered the bathroom was flooded

it was a great stay, the staff is amasing, they gave me a gluten free breakfast as requested, the room was spacious and confortable.

Only complain I can make is about the shower which is a bit annoying annoying having to press the button every 15 seconds or so for the water to run

I was lucky and got a whole room for myself and the staff was amazing, Pedro and Rita were there for everything I needed and were always super friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom were both clean upon arrival.

The house is huge, but not an eye-catcher. During our stay the house stunk a bit, but luckily the dorm did not. Breakfast is very basic.

Very friendly and forthcoming staff. Great facilities: everything available you would hope to find in a hostel (clean showers, [every two rooms share a shower/bath-room], kitchen, lounge, big breakfast room, lockers if you want to store you luggage are available next to the reception, a room for washing clothes was also visible. Towels are provided and there are cabinets in each room to store you belongings. I will definitely visit again if I am in the area once more.
