very dated , no where to hang wet clothes ,facilities limited and breakfast of poor standard - the conference that had been going on made mate noise till 12midnight

the staff were lovely , friendly and helpful and they had secure bike storage

Breakfast for a vegan is not ideal, they said in the email that they had soymilk and cornflakes but it turned out to be chocolate soymilk only (so not ideal with cornflakes) & the fruit didn't look fresh But I didn't expect a lot since it is a cheap hostel anyway I did think it was annoying that the room only had one key, so the last person to leave had to put it at the desk. Which meant you always had to go get it. There was a group of young boys with entertainers there and they were very noisy which made the overall experience a bit uncomfortable as they were screaming in the hallway and bouncing on the doors (which is probably just a case of bad luck and not the hostels fault)

It was cheap, you could use the pool, the room was clean and there was breakfast

After we had booked in, we were asked to move for other guests. Beds were squeeky and loud.

The beds were a bit sqeaky and there was not enough outlets for all the people in the room. They only have 1 key per room, but luckily the staff is really helpful when someone forgets to leave it.

The hostel had free breakfast and nice and helpful personnel.

We asked to merge the 2 single bed so we could have 1 big bed and they did but the structure of the bed was too large and unfortunately we ended up with a big gap in the middle

The venue was a disappointment. Apart from the room being very basic, there was a leak in the roof of the passage with towels on the floor, the door to the room was previously broken and not yet fixed, the hand held shower was broken. Not a venue we will visit again

No possibility to cook, event not hot water! Or refridgerator! No automat to buy a cup of coffe - it would have been nice. When you are comming walking or on a bike, too fare from a place to buy food.

The place was great, quiet, in the middle of the nature but also close to Ovar and a lovely beach with lots of amenities. Staff, Anna, was moito simpatica and gave us very good information about the area. La piscina was lovely although we run out of time to use it. We definitively recommend this place! Very good value for the money

I couldn’t sleep because I could feel all the springs in the mattress. Very cheap uncomfortable beds. Room service is every 3 days. At breakfast I was told by staff that they don’t have butter at breakfast. The place is 3kms walking each way from the beach and around 1.5km from the closest supermarket. There is no food nor drinks on site and it’s extremely difficult to get a taxi or an Uber. There are no vending machines on site nor a fridge or a microwave. I do not recommend it for those without their own transport, nor for stays over 1-2 nights.

The swimming pool is the only good thing.

It’s in the middle of nowhere. We could not get a taxi/bus into the nearest town so had to walk 3km each way instead. There are no facilities onsite to get food or drinks, not even a vending machine.

The room was clean and the only staff member we met, Paula, was really nice and accommodating. Swimming pool onsite.

1. nothing to do about it, but it's real far from the beach 2. The place is a Youth hostel. Which means common bathrooms . I don't mind it much, but you should know :) 3. The beds squeak at every movement. The most annoying screech ever especially since you can easily hear every bed on the hallway. 4. It is old.. so many things, especially in the bathroom, could do with a refurbishing. Paint not being where it should have been and stuff like that. 5. Did i mention it's a youth hostel, which means young people being loud in the night? That being said.. i liked the place. Annoying but clean :) and missed having a stupid simple breakfast. This place delivered, even if I kinda wanted eggs as well.

1. The staff was real nice 2. I loved the breakfast. Nothing special at all, bread, salami thingy and cheese. cereals and milk, yoghurt and fruits. bead, butter with jam, honey or both. coffee 3. There were 34 degrees outside and this place was chilli. Perfect! 4. It was very clean, in general
