The bar shut early between 10.30 pm and 11 pm. Our room was at the back of the hotel, we had the tiniest balcony, couldn't really stand on it and with the view of a crane and the noise of the air conditioning unit outside, you wouldn't want to anyway. But to be fair we spent very little time in the room anyway as we were out and about enjoying the sights and experiencing Porto which was truly amazing.

Attention to detail, chocolates on the pillows and a welcome note with a small carafe of Port on our first night. The staff were really friendly. The room was lovely and very comfortable Great location for sightseeing and restaurants, lots of entertainment on the busy but pedestrianised street.

The only negative point of the accomodation was the very hard mattresses but that is a personal issue.

I like the location very much, in the city centre. There is a parking on 5 minutes walk.

Very nice hotel with a cozy, friendly feeling. Staff was efficient, kind and made me feel welcomed. Both the lobby and adjacent small bar have an upscale vibe. The location is perfect, within walking distance of most attractions and great restaurants. I'm glad I picked this hotel for my short stay in Porto!

The floor outside the pool was quite slippery.

Room and facilities all super clean and nicely decorated, the staff were incredibly kind and polite, the fitness room is nice and quiet. And the location is excellent only 3 minute walk from Sao Bento Train station. I am not a fan of buffet breakfast but it was good with plenty of options and everything was fresh.

Excellent breakfast - great choices at buffet and friendly attentive staff to greet you and to serve coffee LOVED the location, the helpfulness of staff, and the pool. Rooms were modern, bathroom excellent. Great body cream provided!! Lovely little bar and sitting area at entrance.

The staff were exceptional - very helpful and knowledgeable - nothing was too much trouble. Organised taxis, recommendations for dinner, places to visit and even packed up up a breakfast as we left very early for the airport on our last day.

Just the coffee!

The staff were extremely helpful & friendly. The hotel itself was very comfortable and in an excellent central location. There was a very comprehensive choice of dishes for breakfast - all very tasty! The only extra that would have made it perfect was better coffee as I like extra hot lattes and the coffee was a bit strong and cool for me. However, that’s just a personal taste.

Room could have been a fraction bigger but was fine for our 3 day trip. Breakfast had a decent amount of options and was fine for what we needed. If I’m being picky then having the option of freshly cooked hot items would be nice, rather than the few items they had which were on hot plates.

It had a good central location, and given Porto is very hilly it helped knowing we weren’t at the very top or very bottom of the hill. We had an internal courtyard room so very quiet. The staff were all very helpful and friendly giving recommendations (although some are affiliated with the hotel)

On the first morning, breakfast was warm and lovely. However for the rest of the trip the breakfast was stone cold (bacon, beans, mushrooms, eggs ect). (We went at different times each morning) A better solution for keeping the food warm instead of using hot plates needs to be thought about. This was quite disappointing as everything else about the hotel was great.

Brilliant location- a short walk away from all the main sight seeing attractions. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk. Upon check in we received a free upgrade which was a wonderful surprise. Nice pool and sauna. Wide variety of choice for breakfast.

Had all what we needed and more Make sure it is front and centre on the website that you CANNOT get to the hotel in a rental car . I think you should emphasize that it is only a pedestrian walkway.

we suggested a different Gluten free option and they were very welcoming . The room was a touch small but the familiar feeling in the hotel made up for it Fully enjoyed our stay .

Room temperature was difficult to control. Bedsheets too warm and hard to sleep with normal room temperature. It got too warm with covers and too cold without.
