Booked two studios for me and the wife and our daughter and her dog (she lives in Lisbon) Rented rooms were on a busy working sports/leisure facility. Basic accommodation, converted stables. Interiors functional and clean but exteriors appear shabby. Didn't find it relaxing as it had too much going on ie horse riding, football coaching, large childcare (nursery), dance studio, yoga classes etc, etc - all a bit manic! Lots of people and cars coming and going. I had problems with the tourist tax, beware as the amount was more than double stated- I was asked to pay cash. was over charged when I later checked the tourist website. It took days to recover the amount, left a bad feeling about the place as I had to ask twice for my refund. It does suggest on the website that there are many facilities on offer, but they are shared with the locals and the family who own the site, so it came across as quite restrictive eg use of the pool. Most of the facilities appear to be used / booked by locals or are separate businesses from the holiday lets. Wasn't a good experience for my family but could be a good one/two-night stay if you are touring the area. You must like dogs to stay here (we had a small dog with us). We were charged for the dog. Location. You really need a car to stay here as supermarkets, bars, eating places etc a good walk or taxi ride away Staffing - kept waiting for well over an hour to get our room once we found the only member of staff on duty! Room wasn't ready despite us arriving in the late afternoon. We had to sit outside in the midday sun with no drinks offered and nowhere on the premises where we could purchase some. Didn't feel valued as a paying visitor, felt the place was all about maximising profit.

Dog friendly. Uber taxis were plentiful and well priced.

Lack of comfortable seating, both indoors and outdoors. Indoor was one fancy designer item, outdoor was folding garden chairs, past their use by date. Constant noise from the dance studio. Lack of wardrobe, just a big hook on the wall. Fridge door parting company with the body. Pool was "private" although all residents ok to use. Still felt uncomfortable being excluded from one side.

We stayed in number 6, a one bedroom cottage. It was so damp that we needed to keep a dehumidifier going when we were inside the cottage. The pillows had lumpy polyester fillings, the saucepan handles were wonky, no kettle, the wash basin in the shower room was minuscule. We booked the accommodation on the basis that we could use the bikes and gym, as advertised. The bikes were in a very poor state, brakes failing, dirty, and rusty. The gym was mainly used by an instructor and outside clients. We felt the marketing on the website was misleading. Unfortunately, the price was too high for what was delivered. On the plus side, the cleaners were very thorough and a broken boiler was repaired quickly.

This was one of the most disappointing vacations my husband and I have had. In their advertisements here, they show a variety of rooms in the pictures and such nice comfortable apartments with a large space, but this is not what we've got. I've done this booking a month in advance and also chatted with them and asked to reserve a specific room (with a sofa, space, separated bedroom, and kitchen) as seen in the pictures here. They approved the specific one and said they will reserve it for us. When we got there, they placed us in a tiny room with a bed only and no space to move! We told them that this is not what they show in their photos and that we've never booked such a room and also showed the receptionist the correspondence and photos. She said she'll check with the manager but of course - no one came to talk to us. How amazing the customer service is - No one cares! Luckily it was only a 2 days booking. They charged us 60 EUR per night for this ridiculous room. Oh, and they wanted an extra "tourist tax" of 10 EUR for a person. It doesn't make sense that you see something online and then you get something totally different! How could they give us a room that is not even listed in their pictures on booking.com?
