Pilgrims - this is great for a day off stop. BUT you need a taxi to get there (very cheap here) and when you get there, there are no facilities to buy food. The breakfast is wonderful, but after that there is nothing. A local restaurant is a 20 minute walk away. But while hanging out at this gorgeous place you need to bring snacks, drinks and food. But worth it!

What's not to like! Even the cats were friendly!

What a beautiful experience. We were able to rest on our bike ride and enjoy the peaceful surroundings at Quinta da Cabrita. The breakfast was a beautiful spread of local foods delivered to our door with wonderful coffee. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great service too. We biked so it's was easy to take Bolt to town for 5 euro.

Everything was perfect! Yhe place is beautiful! The apartment is comfortqbke qnd have everything you need - spacious livingroom, equiped kitchen, airconditioning, comfortable beds. The breakfast was so good, and there is also a wonderful pool. The staff were nice and helping and we enjoyef every moment there.

Loved the place! Nice breakfast delivered to your cottage, friendly cats in the area, and we took a chance to play billiards in common room. And we had huge bathtub in a cottage, that was also cool.

We arrived in the evening late due to flight delay. Instructions regarding how and where to park, and how to find our 3 casitas could have been better explained. Parking a larger vehicle is a bit challenging - but that is common all over Europe!

The breakfast was delivered to our casa. Wonderful! Fresh scrambled eggs, cheeses and meats, yogurt, fruit, local breads, fresh squeezed OJ - Nespresso in the kitchen. Beautiful and quaint, if not gorgeous, little casitas that were spacious, decorated tastefully, and so comfortable. Pastoral, rural location just outside Santarem. Only 50 minute drive from the airport in Lisbon, so perfect for travelers to the north of Portugal. we wanted to stop in Santarem to see the eucharistic miracle and then go to Fatima, which is only 35 minutes north. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer to really enjoy this first class facility.

Wonderful Breakfast Basket delivered to the cottage each morning (freshly baked bread & croissants, ham & cheese, jam & butter, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, milk, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.). The swimming pool and lapa area is straight out of a magazine! The entire quinta is quiet and well maintained. The manageress, Lita, is wonderful and provides the most amazing service (from restaurant suggestions to explaining everything)

Something that we cannot input the fault to the Accommodation, but there is a pig farm nearby and in one of the days when the wind was blowing in a certain direction it smelled. It was for only a few hours but worth to mention.

- Every house in the farm is refurbished/reconstructed in a very tasteful way and with elements from the previous life of the farm. -Big Rooms and a very tasteful breakfast - A calm place ideal for a relax get away

When you arrive at Quinta da Cabrita you’re immediately transported into a magically traditional Portuguese setting, from the preservation of the traditional architecture to the beautifully landscaped grounds. Our Ameixoeira cottage was very cosy and very well equipped with all the modern amenities you’d need. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Portuguese experience.

Idyllic rural location. Totally quiet and peaceful. Lovely warm greeting from the manageress who took time out to show us round and make sure that we were settled in. There as also a pleasant restaurant within easy walking distance.

The house has extremely nice vibe. It is warm and clean with comfortable bed, cool design and lovely breakfast. The hoists are increadiably kind and flexible. We were impressed with their efford to be helpful. We wish we could of have stayed there longer.

The staff and the location were lovely. The room was outstanding and I have never felt so relaxed on a work trip. The facilities were excellent and I just wished i'd stayed for a few more days.

What a great stay we had at Lita's ! The house was fully equipped and very clean , comfortable beds and good pillows. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is brought to your house every morning. You do need a car to travel around the area and visit places. Santarem at 10 minutes drive , we loved the not so known city and we visited great restaurants ; try Does Petiscos and certainly Patio da Graça (our favorite ! ) Thanks you Lita for your warm hart and good humor ! :-) we will not forget our stay with you Love , Andrei & Anne

This was the most beautiful property I stayed at on my entire Europe trip. It was quiet and set in the beautiful countryside. Staff were sensational, the room stunning and the food was wonderful.

The road following google maps was not paved and hard to drive on.

It was clean and spacious. The staff were helpful and the pool area was lovely. The pool was 25 degrees Celsius which was refreshing to cool off in the hot sunshine.
