Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThis was my our second visit. We were just as mesmerized a second time. Quinta de Corte is calmly sophisticated. Its charm is how relaxed it makes you feel, so effortless and all in the most stunning location. We enjoyed the meals, walking in the vineyards and relaxing by the infinity pool.

United StatesWhat a special place. We stayed three nights at Quinta Da Corte as part of our honeymoon in Portugal, and it was a true highlight. The Duoro Valley is breathtaking, and Quinta Da Corte is in a great location to take in the views. The space – designed by Pierre Yovanovitch – is so beautifully designed that every single room, hallway, piece of furniture and art is an absolute treat. The staff also does a great job of cultivating a communal experience. All meals are served at a shared dining table, which we were initially skeptical of. That skepticism was gone about two minutes into our first meal. By the end of our stay, we had made Portuguese, British and Norwegian friends who we shared stories, jokes, cheers, travel recommendations, and Instagram handles with. Not to mention, the food served was delicious and in keeping with traditional Portuguese dishes and techniques. We will absolutely be back and would recommend to anyone!

United StatesThis beautiful Quinta was a highlight of our trip to the Douro Valley. We had dinner in their restaurant all three nights we stayed there, we loved the vibe so much. Excellent breakfast as well. Just such a unique property. Beautifully decorated, exceptional views of the Valley/vinyards, friendly and helpful staff.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed with stunning views of the Douro. Our bedroom itself was cozy, but we also enjoyed the many lovely common and outdoor spaces. We loved our meals, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

ItalyA dream place 🥰 The position is stunning, secluded on a quiet hill overlooking the Douro. The Quinta is lovely, well renovated in Portuguese style. Dinner was great and breakfast delicious too. Walking in the vineyards and relaxing at the pool was simply amazing. We also enjoyed the wine tasting on the terrace of the bar at the town entrance, facing an unforgettable sunset.

IsraelThe road from the nearest road is very steep 1KM single lane - not for the faint of heart. Dinner was good, but not so sure about value for money.
If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful quinta, this is it. It's a small place (7 room if I recall correctly), in a wonderful mountain setting. Nicely designed rooms and shared spaces. It's been a very long time since I had a complete dark night such as this. No TV, take a book from the library instead. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Winery tour was interesting.

PortugalOne of the dishes at dinner was a fish dish but mostly rice so my mom didn't love her meal, but my meat dish was outstanding.
Absolutely stunning design of all the rooms in the house. Comfortable beds, robes, well sized rooms. Written note in the room along with chocolates and water was a nice touch. Blown away by the winery and enjoyed the tour and tasting. Enjoyed meeting other guests at dinner and breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly; allowed us to arrive early. Beautiful property with a few small walking trails and a pool. Would definitely return.

ItalyOnly thing to say was the temperature of the room, definitely too hot.
Small estate with great quality wines, perfect for a unique night stay in Douro valley. The estate is well preserved in term of structure, lot of attention to details and decorated with modern style touch, although always perfectly respecting the Portuguese tradition. The room was wide, well equipped with all amenities and kind courtesy service provided. From the window we could enjoy a superb view on the vineyards surrounded by mainly nature sounds. We had the estate tour and wine tasting upon arrival and it was very interesting. Highly recommended as well as I would reccomend to dine inside the estate. Being such an unique location it is worth to experience at 360 the service offered. All the staff was very polite and professional, adding value to the stay!

CanadaWe didn’t know the property expected us earlier on on check-in day to do a property tour so we ended up having a bit of a rushed tour the next morning. We inquired several time about wine tasting but never ended up having a confirmation (either online or in person) so turns out we didn’t get to do one, which was one of our main goal initially.
Absolutely stunning venue overlooking the Douro valley. The property is superb from a design standpoint, everything is curated with taste. The 2 meals we had were fantastic, very flavorful and generous.

MaltaNothing really. The drive up is a bit challenging with some one lane sections but go slow and it's fine. Access to Pinhao and other quintas will require a taxi, but the hotel arranged that for us
* Cozy room in a beautiful wine hotel with delicious breakfast and winery tour/tasting included * Charming staff included a very fun wine tour leader, Afonso. Most spoke great English * Breathtaking views from the winery of the Duoro Valley
