Very nice, lovely and quite area. A lot of green outside including a nice spring nearby and an old well in the courtyard. We had to leave very early in the morning and the owner arranged for us in the evening a generous breakfast to take with us. We will be happy to come once again for longer time.

It was a bit of challenge to get there in the evening as the property is in a tiny village. We got a bit lost on the way...

It is a beautiful property with a very homely feeling and within a tranquil environment. Just ideal to forget the world! Despite our late arrival due to travel problems, a very friendly older lady drove to the property to let us in in person. The next morning, she also came in a bit earlier for us to make sure to we had breakfast before our early departure. You couldn't have asked for a better service! It was a shame we had to leave so early. It is a perfect location to enjoy a quite weekend in nature.

Not very functional air conditioning in the rooms. There was only one window in the room, which was a part of the door and could not be opened independently. Coupled with the air conditioning not working well, this meant the rooms were too hot at night.

Accommodation on a wonderful ancient farm. Very pleasant atmosphere and very nice owners. The breakfasts prepared by Mrs. Augusta were amazing.

Difficult to find the place even with a navigator, A signage is required on the gate.

I like the attitude of the owner. I asked him to recommend me some wine-house with traditional local wine and food and he made a reservation for us in a fantastic wine-house with a great food, wine and personal. And I would like to thanks to him for that.

Rooms are a bit cold during early spring, but heating is provided.

Beautiful old farmhouse with super friendly staff. Surrounding area is actually quite pretty to get some hiking done. If we are ever back in Portugal, we will definitely return here for some comfy rest days.

There was nothing that we strongly disliked. The only thing that I thought from a design/aesthetic perspective is that the the colors in the restrooms could tone down a bit. Just didn’t think it quite matched the rest of the house but this is a very minor thing. Restrooms were all functional and clean.

This is a beautifully updated Portuguese Farmhouse. The wood work and rustic decor inside the house took our breath away. For an older property, it’s very clean and comfortable. There were also many shared spaces inside and outside the property - The living room, game room, dining room, etc. We also liked that there were several fireplaces throughout the property to keep it warm, along with a heater in the room for our usage. We stayed at one end of the house, which had a door that separated our room and restroom as a separate wing which was great and gave us all the privacy we needed. The housekeeper was very sweet. Wi-Fi works. At night, we were able to look up and stargaze as well. This was also where my partner asked me to marry him so will forever remain a very special memory to us. We hope to visit again in the future.

The ambience; the exceptional care taken by Augusta; the breakfast with homemade bread spreads, fresh orange juice, bottomless freshly brewed coffee served in grand style with warm milk; fresh breads and croissants and delicatessen quality cold meats sliced paper thin- and the setting where we enjoyed this filled with the finest antiquities! We couldn’t wish for more.
