Although the view is incredible, the distance from the village and the lack of shops nearby make greater comfort difficult.

The hotel's architecture is modern, elegant and tasteful. I highlight the beauty of the view from the rooms, through the glass panel. In addition to the vineyards, which greatly beautify the property.

We hadn't appreciated the number of steps to get into the property, carrying luggage etc, but the place is worth that effort.

This was the most beautiful place. The room, as the rest of the property was tastefully decorated and furnished. The lady who received us was so kind. We had exceptional service. My husband had been ill, and she went above and beyond what would be expected. surrounding scenery was spectacular We would love to return

Most beautiful location, views and hotel! Staff and facilities are fantastic. Qualifies as 5 star boutique hotel. Must-go if you’re in the region and looking for a remote and unique place to stay in the Douro! Make sure to stay longer than just 1 night!

Place was great, there were 14 in the group, the hosts were great, the went out of the way to make a great dinner for us, they have us a tour of the wine making facility, and breakfast was great also.

For some, the remote location is a disadvantage, but for us it was a huge plus

If I'm in the Douro Valley again, I will definitely stay in this quinta for more than one day. Building itself has been completely renovated and combines modernity and antiquity. A wonderful room with a view of the surrounding area, a comfortable bathroom and a coffee machine, tea and fridge in the room. Opportunity to walk around the quinta and village - the breath of antiquity in every stone and building, very calm place. Staff is very attentive, always ready to help and recommend something interesting (festa in Barcos village:) ). Amazing breakfast with homemade products (I still remember the taste of charlotte). Thanks for everything!

Staff was so helpful and friendly. The apartment amenities were all you could ask for. The pool and property were stunning. It was a quiet location. Mini bar with local was amazing and great value. The breakfast was very very nice. I would recommend walking the trails around the property. Numerous fruit trees and vast orchard with history pathways. Great hike. Parking was ample and shaded.

Restaurants are a bit limited and you have to drive at least 15 minutes to the nearest town. But that's to be expected in a remote setting.

The whole vibe was so laid back - spiritual, even. The staff was small but very accommodating. The scenery was breathtaking. Haven't felt this relaxed in very long time.

We enjoyed so much the stay in this beautiful place. We arrived very late and Rosalio made us great dinner and let us feel totally home. The rooms were very clean and the view is fabulous in this little beautiful village. The hosts even made us a tour in their small vinery. The breakfast is great and homemade, and the communication with the place was perfect!

In the shower there was a knob of the water temperature that was not working. It was falling every time. And the doors of the shower are too little, so they don’t close properly. Which means you put water everywhere. Also the hotel manager didn’t seem to bother about this. Doesn’t seem to care much or to accompany the clients over the stay.

We loved the scenery of the hotel, the room, and the hotel itself. Nice swimming pool, very nice decoration.

The small water installation in front of the pool was very green, the pictures on the website definitely looked a bit better than the property did in person.

Situated in a quiet village, with a beautiful view. However, there are no restaurants or shop in walking distance, everything is quite far. Breakfast was good, but nothing exceptional. Staff was friendly. Rooms were nice and free parking is available.
