The gate to access the property is not obvious from the map or location and is narrow… although this seems like a Madeira trend! The only thing we struggled with at times was barking dogs in the neighbouring properties, but otherwise very comfortable stay.

This property was a great location for us to explore the West of Madeira and had all that we needed for us to have a comfortable stay with the benefit of parking.

Check in was confused so the member of our group who arrived first couldn’t get into the premises and was on the busy street outside for 10-15 minutes with all his luggage waiting for a response. Accessing the drive from the busy road wasn’t easy.

The property is very poorly signposted. It is difficult to find without using Satnav on our phone and even then, there is no sign on the entrance gate. We found no privacy using the en suite toilets a bit strange.

Location is not very walkable and buses are limited. A rental car is beneficial for this location.

Excellent property and accommodations; we had the Studio Apartment and it was perfect for a couple. We would book this accommodation again.

- mosquito nets for windows and / or doors would be useful - driving in and out is a bit adventurous but it just takes a bit of patience - and a heated pool would make the place perfect

Well looked after property, warm welcome, super nice apartment with everything you needed and if you need something the super nice stuff helped you out in a couple of minutes and solved all your problems ( well actually there were no real problems we just missed a cutting board) the kitchen was super equipped everything you need to cook. Super clean and nice pool area. The location is perfect to discover all of the beautiful island of Madeira. Funchal is super close and easy to reach and the airport is just 30 min by car easy reachable. only thing you need to know is that the ensuit bathroom does not come with a door to close. if you are traveling as a couple like in our case not a problem but maybe good to know if you travel with a colleague from work 😉

There was only a capsule coffee machine in the kitchen, which only fits certain types of capsules. And these capsules were not sold in the nearest store....The kitchen equipment was otherwise modest, but there are several restaurants nearby

Maybe because its in the middle of nature, there were quite a lot of bugs in the house, many cobwebs in the ceilings and we saw 2 cockroaches in the house. Be aware that the bathrooms don’t have doors so be mindful of who you’re sharing the bedroom with.

The property is situated just off a very busy road and it was difficult turning into a rather narrow drive. There was very limited cooking facility with only a hob and microwave and the barbecue was not functioning (needed a taller chimney)

There aren't many coffee pods but that was such a minor thing! Everything was perfect.

Perfect stay! The whatsapp contact with the owners was very smooth and helpful. Property was extremely clean and covid-safe. The pool is extremely quiet and kept very clean. It's shared with a few other guests but never feels cramped. The beds are comfy and the fans in the bedrooms are very powerful. There is plenty of balcony space for breakfasts and dinners outside. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking pans, cutlery, glasses and plates etc. We recommend you hire a car for your stay, and you can park in the secure gated area outside of your apartment.

The location was not quite what we expected. It was 150m from the beach, but not a particularly safe beach - beware the Atlantic waves! And a car is ESSENTIAL, which was not what we’d expected. The property adjoins a busy often noisy road and is between 2 v long tunnels which are NOT pleasant to walk in. Once we’d hired a car it was fine but wished we’d been told that from the outset, and other residents found the same problem.

Breakfast N/a, all self-catering. Really lovely little complex, beautifully laid-out and tended, lovely pool. High spec accommodation, v well-equipped incl effective fan if you wanted (we just left the doors open to hear the sea) lots of space, lovely balconies, sea view (albeit w a small roof in the way!), MadeiraSun staff at the end of the phone v helpful.

The hotel is near houses with dogs and roosters. So it was a little bite noisy. In the appartment, it was hot and there was no AC or fan. No door between bedroom and batheroom. Just a curtain. You need a beep to open the portal. But it is on the set of appartment's keys. When you leave, you must let these keys on the table. So you can't open the portal except if you run fast 😉 The personnal didn't answer when we asked them.

No airco. The domain is situated near a busy road and getting in and out safely with a car through the narrow driveway was a challenge. We rented two apartments above each other. The WIFI router was located in the bottom one and did not carry to the second apartment. The fridge in the top apartment gave a very unpleasant smell due to poor ventilation which they tried to hide with some fragrance sticks. After a couple of days and some ping-pong messages with the off-site staff, maintenance tried to fix it but smell hadn't disappeared and we shut it down completely. In the end they gave us a small discount, but these are the kind of problems you would rather not face when on holiday.

Very nice apartments with great beds. Swimming pool was excellent. Make sure to visit the Madeira Banana Center nearby. Opened recently and we got a private tour with very friendly guides.
