The garden is a part of paradise! The kindness of the team, Ana, Kyle and Rosa :) The locatio'n, close to the Airport, 7' by foot :) not a problem, a few plane it's just fun to watch the ocean and see small plane lift of Cycles for free nice to go to Horta :) The GuestHouse very charming :) The breakfasr very nice with only local food and hand made very good orange cake (by Ana), and very nice hand made Yogourt (by Kyle). Fruits in the garden, eggs from the chickrn, vegetables from the organic garden, no need to go to the local market in Horta (nice small market with only local products at the good price) Everythings perfect even if at this season it rains a lot ;) Kyle is too a fishi'g specialist from the shore or snorkeling he has his part time company and he is passioned so a nice plan :)

Someone says that there is not good location, but, guys, you will sure need a car for traveling on this island so you won’t have any problems with location. Instead, you will have an opportunity to watch the takeoff and land planes ✈️ You will have a chance to walk trough garden and enjoy the calm and peace.

I like the property a lot. It’s a gorgeous place, I highly recommend everyone to stay here. It’s a beautiful farm where you will live with the nature, wake up and go sleep with birds 🐦 have breakfast with a farm and domestic food 🤤 Ana and while staff is so kind and helpful. Thank you a lot with the opportunity to stay with dog, for helping with the car rent and helping and keeping in touch when our flight was rescheduled.

Beautiful property, stylish, and wonderful garden... a real paradise! Even though it is nearby the airport, it is not a problem at all, as there is so little traffic. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us, and we would recommend this stay to anyone who is looking for a boutique getaway!

The location is perfect since our flight was early in the morning, we arrived the airport in 5 mins walk! Love this farm! The planets, flowers, the garden... also the furnitures, the chairs, tables, lamps.... all ! Plus the great host Ana, nice and warm. We regret that we didn't stay longer!

Ana and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very cosy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The farm is lovely so take some time to walk around. Some of the buganvílias were still blooming, making the whole stay even more admirable.

No good restaurants within 5km, you need to do groceries and cook for yourself before your stay or drive to the city to have a good meal.

Everything! Very nice bedroom, nice private bathroom and a shared kitchen! Parking spots are outside the gate. From the moment we enter the gate, we're surrounded by plants and flowers, beautiful buildings in harmony with nature. Fruit trees, big garden on the back offers a relaxing walk. Owners are very kind.

This place was just perfect! Such a lovely house with a nice sea view and a beautiful garden. The breakfast at the terrace was amazing. Although it is very close to the airport, it is very quiet and relaxed. There is not much air traffic on Faial. We wished we could have stayed longer. This was one of the best and most comfortable stays on our trip to the Azores. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere at the accommodation is very friendly and easy-going, the host lady is super nice, the whole property is a farm with the beautiful garden, cows, chicken and one very friendly dog :) We especially liked the breakfast at the terrace overlooking the field with cows, sea and the airport runaway. Despite the location very close to the airport, we didn’t hear any noise at night and slept very well :)

I loved my stay at Quinta das Buganvílias. Ana gives attention to every detail and you can feel that she puts her heart into her work to make sure guests have a memorable stay. To start the day on the breakfast terrace is just perfect. The occasional landing of an airplane offers a nice entertainment in the calm environment and should not be a point of concern. There are only few flights, most are propelled aircrafts and flights are only during the day. The garden with sea view is lovely and invites to spend some time on the comfy long-chairs or in the hammock. My room was full of light, super clean and lovely furnished and decorated. When the sky was clear I could see the majestic Mount Pico. Easy parking right at the entrance of the Quinta. My rental car was not ready when arriving at the airport and I walked the 7min to the Quinta. Perfect spot to explore the island. I went several times to Capelinhos to see this magical area in different day lights. I will definitely go back to Quinta das Buganvílas!

This place is a gem!! The gardens here go on and on, and are filled with huge philodendrons, bromeliads, and orchids. There is even a tunnel to the ocean! It truly is a magical place and the staff was amazing.
