The place was spotless, it had everything we needed and our host was just amazing! The location is very good if you have a car, since it's in the middle of the island, so you are close to all the attractions.

Perfect location to move through the island with a rental car. Manuel and his family are super lovely, attach to the details and perfect hosts! The accommodation had a perfect size for us two, lot of light and quiet. Kitchen equipped with everything needed! Manuel even left some towels to take to the thermals waters. We just loved our stay a are sad it already ended.

Apartment was super clean and very well equipped. We had everything we needed. Free parking available in front of the house. Wifi worked well. Big supermarket is close (5mins by car). I recommend this accommodation. Manuel, the owner is very nice and always ready to help. He welcomed us with bottle of wine and came to say goodbye day before our leaving with a port wine and cookies.

Everything was just perfect, the owner really cares about the place so you have everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet and house has a good central position on the Island. I sure recommend!

We had ants in our apartment. Because the humidity on the island is high, wet clothes and towels did not dry well. However, the host offered us the possibility of drying in the machine, if we had problems because of this. The beds were comfortable, but a little creaky. Nevertheless, we were overall very satisfied with the accommodation.

Very friendly host. Responsive, helpful and very hospitable. Everything is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. The property also has a washing machine. Good location, especially if you have a car. It is close to a big store, the main roads, it is in the center of the island and it is a good starting point for most trips. The surroundings are quiet, only in the evenings you can hear the barking of several dogs. Free parking is available next to the accommodation. WiFi is excellent. Although they don't have cots available, we were given a rail for the bed where our baby slept, so that was nicely taken care of. The apartment is also suitable for a family with a baby.

The state of the property was absolutely immaculate. It was the nicest apartment that I have ever stayed at while on vacation. it had every kitchen appliance imaginable and everything was brand new. Also, the area was very quiet and calm, which is nice after long days touring the island. I could t have asked for more.

Everything was perfect. The apartment is equiped with everything you need. It has a big kitchen, big bathroom and bedroom. If you have a car you can park it right in front of apartment on the side of the road where there are free parking spaces. Everything was really clean and smelled nice. The owner is the nicest person we ever met on our travels. He told us about some beautifull places on the island that most tourists do not know of. He brought us their homegrown green bannanas and one evening even offered us old port vine from his friend that tasted amaizing. He really made us feel wellcome while staying there and when we left we felt almost like leaving home. It was perfect and we will absolutelly return soon!

The apartment was extremely clean and new. Every item in the kitchen was individually wrapped in plastic (pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, cups, plates, etc…). Manuel was a perfect host: I was treated to bananas from his plantation and a welcome basket with cookies from Azores, green tea and coffee on the kitchen table. He was always available for questions and was already to help in any way he could, if required. The apartment is extremely comfortable and quiet. The balcony faces a huge garden planted with trees and I would wake up every morning to the sound of the wind rustling the leaves. The amenities and equipment were top notch, including hair drier, microwave oven, toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, two televisions, tasteful decoration including candles and flower pots. I could not have wished for a better place to stay and I am delighted with my choice. I highly recommend.

There was barking dog issues as the next door neighbour had two large dogs. There is no ocean view, except on one of the upper floors and the garden view was a bit more "rustic" than we anticipated. It indicated that it is a work in progress.

The location was very good as it was central and provided a good base for seeing the island. Manuel was a superb host as he responded to all of our questions and queries promptly and worked hard to solve any issues that arose. The unit was modern, spacious and extremely clean. Parking was no problem as there was lots of spaces on the road beside the place. In addition, we were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and Manuel came to "toast" our departure with a special port wine. It's those little things that really make this a great place to spend our time on Sao Miguel.

Property was in a decent location,was a bit hard to find at first but in general we were pleased with it. Our host was a delightful man keen on helping us with any requests! He even woke up at 5 in the morning for us to say goodbye! Would stay again!

Because we were in a neighborhood that seemed to love their dogs, during the middle of the night one dog cause another dog (or dogs) to bark/howl for a bit. Other than that, the place was QUIET.

Manuel was beyond hospitable — checking in on us, providing recommendations, bringing us bananas, generally making sure that everyone was going well and we didn’t need anything. And, the place was spotless with a big bathroom and a nice and hot shower. The kitchen also worked for us as we had coffee and made breakfast every morning. It was conveniently located to a well stocked market down the street, and very good restaurants a short drive away. We felt very safe and secure staying at Manuel’s place.
