Nothing- everything exceeded our expectations.

Breakfast was very tasty, with home-made products like jam. The view from our room and the terrace was unbelievable, with the Douro river. We watched the sunrise from our room, which was an unforgettable experience. The owner took great care of us, made a personalized itinerary for us of what to see in the area. We also tried their local wine which was delicious.

This place is something very special and incredible for relaxing, quiet days in the Douro valley. Not only the great view, also Cidalia is a very friendly and wam owner who really cares about the well-being of the guests. She is always up for a chat and serves the breakfast with a lot of love. And on top the view from the breakfast table as well as the swimming pool is just great. All in all just perfect, we had a great time at the hotel. Ps try the Quinta’s wines, really tasty.

Would have been good if option to eat on site as the location was remote and required a drive to go for lunch or evening meals.

Amazing location, great room and comfortable bed that even electronically changed to a lounger. spectacular views in the middle of a working winery. The owner was so helpful and lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast also good with local ingredients for everything.

We did love it all but wish Corona restrictions meant the breakfast was a bit more buffet and able to make more of a choice. We know that is restriction related though so sure will go back to normal soon :) Every effort was made to accomodate breakfast as well as they could. Friendly wasps too when eating outside!! They seem to like a bit of ham on a small plate to take away a small bit each time.

The whole place is beautiful. Tranquil setting in the middle of the vineyard and incredible calming. Breathtaking views and an awesome pool to relax in. Simple and enjoyable breakfast. Fresh smelling linen. Handful of guests meant it was very private and friendly. A small kitchen you can use to make your own lunch/dinner that is well equiped and you can pick up food a short drive away at Intermarche. Get up early to see the sun rise!! Sidalia and Maria are top notch hosts and totally friendly and welcoming.

This Amazing small hotel is Fabulous in every aspect. The location is stunning. The view is out of this world , and above of this all is Mrs Cidália , who fulfilled her dream at a later age, building up this place from scratch. We stayed a day longer than what we had planned, and would have stayed longer if only we could. This place is absolutely a must.

There were no negatives

The view from the balcony and the pool area is exceptional. The Breakfast was wonderful, with a lovely variety of delicious things that are brought to your table, including the owner's home-made cake and home-made jams. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The owner was so kind and helpful throughout our stay, and never seemed to tire of trying to make our stay and travels in the area as enjoyable as possible. I am vegetarian which can be a problem in Portugal, but she rang a local restaurant in advance and I had the best meal because of this. In fact it was so good my very carnivorous partner ordered the same the next time we went! You need a car to get the best of this area, but in every direction are stunning drives and valleys of incredible beauty. To make up for the lack of food available at other times there is a small kitchen and a fridge for guests that is available to use whenever you wish to which was very handy for storing my Gin and Tonics! There was no noise at night at all, ensuring a good nights sleep :)

Two single beds are a bit annoying for those who like to cuddle.

Great hospitality by Cedilia, always took care and helped as much as she could. the place is very unique with an unbelievable view. The atmposphere is very special. Breakfest is great and so the wine! The place is sparkling clean, there is a great shared kitchen you can use. Highly recommended for anyone who's looking for a place to chill and relax.

Peaceful location with chill vibes and phenomenal views. The pool was just perfect and offers unforgettable views. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. I loved the simple, yet tasteful decor. The breakfast was great. You are within 15-20 minutes from wineries and restaurants.
