The flat could have more windows. They are nice but the windows are relatively small in proportion and it is a pity since the property is very nicely located. we found amazing weather so staying outside was great but for chillier days may be a bit annoying.

The property is new and located in an quiet and nice location with amazing view on the Douro river. The kitchen is equipped with all what you need to cook and the flat is nicely decorated. Personnel is very kind and helpful and internet is great. There is a heated pool that has also view on the river and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the nature. Wifi is also good and usually works across the property. Breakfast is a bit basic (although the fresh orange juice was fantastic) however you are all what you need to cook for yourself.

The only mirror is in the bathroom, would be nice to have a full length mirror but not absolutely necessary.

The property is in a wonderful and peaceful location with stunning views of Douro River. We stayed in apartment 5 which has views of the river and private terrace, ideal for eating your breakfast/lunch/dinner. The apartment is functional with everything we needed and is nicely decorated. A continental breakfast is delivered every morning in a hamper - a really nice touch.

For me, the bed was rather hard but fine for my partner. The bathroom has no surface area to put your things out or enough hanging space for all towels to dry but we did this over the rails outside. It is unfinished in terms of landscaping and I expect paths and steps will be completed in future. The standard of the build is excellent and I am sure the finished grounds immediately around will be wonderful. It is a lovely place to stay but worth mentioning that this is only for the able-bodied! The paths and steps are steep so carrying suitcases is not easy. These small negatives are outweighed by the wonderful views!

A stunning view from this unusual setting - particularly from the viewpoint with its table and chairs out on a platform. A lovely villa and church on the other side of the river are lovely but the regular sight of the trains below were especially great. The apartment is more than enough space with plenty of kitchen equipment (even a cake tin?) and the decor is very pleasant with ornaments, candles, footstools etc. We had a long narrow walkway-type terrace as well as some loungers on the rough ground next to us. There was sun part of the afternoon and evening but otherwise it is quite shadowed. The views are superb and worth the tricky narrow stretch of lane! Sandra was very welcoming and helpful throughout. The little pool is WARM and has a great view. The breakfast basket if very sweet and contains the most amazing freshly-squeezed juice and coffee pods.

Very impressive place! Appartments are modern, clean, we felt like at home. View from the terace is millon worth!!! Highly recomend for those who look for silent, calm and cosy place!

Although the location is aesthically amazing getting to and from places to eat and drink can sometimes be a little hair raising if you are not used to it as everything is at least 20 to 30 min drive away. Nearest places to eat are Lamego, Régua and Resende. Sandra is really helpful if you ask but could do with a locality and recommendation book in the rooms may help. Also, with such amazing wine everywhere an honesty bar could work! It would be nice to have a few more places to sit to admire the views and relax. The room wasn't cleaned for the 6 days we were there but that was OK with us but may not suit others. A couple of little things like a battery in the clock to work and light to take outside but these are minor things. Breakfast could be jazzed up a bit with some fruit and yoghurt and maybe a pastry or two. Overall it was lovely.

Firstly, this has to be located as one of the best viewpoints of the Douro Valley, absolutely breathtaking to wake up to these views every morning. Sandra and the team are delightful and always there to help. The pool is always warm and never too many people around it. Not deep or too big so ideal for families with small children although our 11 Yr old loved it too. The apartment is large, airy and designed lovely. Everything you need with cooker, microwave, dishwasher & every utensil. We loved the smart TV too enabling us to log into all sorts of channels. Bed is large and comfortable. Shower is great. Air con fab too. Breakfast is brought to your door with yummy bread and delicious fresh orange juice.

The road is really narrow driving in ... thankfully we never met anyone coming the other way. Not sure what we would have done, if we had! It would have an added bonus to have a local map of the area and directions to the local supermarkets etc and local attractions, such as wineries and restaurants. But the wifi was good, so we were able to look them up ourselves.

Quinta de Sao Pedro is set in a stunning location overlooking the river. The views are gorgeous, the staff friendly and the apartment was really clean and spacious. Brekky was delivered every day, including fresh juice, bread, cheese and ham, with coffee available in the room. It's an idyllic location, set at the end of a narrow, one-car wide road, so it's very peaceful - ideal if you want a quiet relaxing stay that involves reading, a quick swim, some more reading, a nap and then cooking dinner overlooking the river. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us! Plus there's a cute cat to keep you amused.

As a newly renovated property, it is still a work in progress. The pathways to the accommodation were still underway, as were the shaded outdoor seating areas. This would not be ideal for anybody with mobility issues.

Peaceful location with beautiful views and modern facilities. Right above the river set amongst orange, quince and olive trees. Staff very friendly. The continental breakfast with delicious fresh orange juice very welcome given the remote location.

The little basket with bread, juice, meats and cheeses were light and lovely. After eating so late at night in Portugal I really didn't need a large breakfast.

The actual village this Quinta located in is not exciting if you relay on proximity to civilization and restaurant but I don’t know who arrive to these places without a car and you can drive to whatever you need. They should really arrange the road to the hotel better but it’s a new place I assume it will happen eventually, we could still see they are adding and fixing things at the property.

it’s brand new, I love the architecture that uses materials from the Douro valley area. Very modern, the apartments are lovely and super comfortable for a stay at the Douro valley.. you can cook for yourself in the kitchen and enjoy the beautiful view and the atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and was very into helping in whatever needed.
