Nothing...it was perfect

Everything was perfect. Location in a quiet village, right on the Camino. Cottage was magnificent, furniture was beautiful. Special touches very much appreciated, Cheese and ham.in the fridge, bottle of freshly squeezed orange juice etc Outdoor infinity pool was so refreshing after a day walking the camino. Beautiful vineyards and could. Purchase wine off the owner. Spring water in the gardens Wakened with the gentle sound of chur h bells...just idyllic. Owner was very proud of his family home and heritage. Couldn't have made us feel any more welcomed.

The gardens of Quinta do Paco d'Anha are such an amazing place, it's like being in paradise. The estate is surrounded by wineyards, the appartement had a wounderful view and we enjoyed every meal sitting on the balcony - we loved the basket with the tasty breakfast in the morning.

Very nice rustically house in between the wine yards with beautiful county-side around. The apartment had a pretty large size with two comfortable bedrooms, kitchen and fireplace.

Unfortunately we arrived on a Portuguese holiday. There were no staff on sight and it was very difficult to find the reception area. We did not have phone service to contact staff and were waiting an hour for staff to receive our message. A lovely visitor to the winery tried to assist the elderly owners who live on the property but it was quite overwhelming for them. When a staff member did arrive she was helpful and apologetic. It was not ideal after a 30km walk on the Camino.

The setting was beautiful and peaceful. When staff did arrive they were very helpful taking us to the supermarket as shops were a distance away.

It has old style and huge rooms, providing breakfast, we had bread, cookies, coffee, milk, juice, cereal, butter, fruit jam and cream cheese. we all loved the breakfast. bedding a little old but clean, better use softer for towels.

Beautiful grounds, right off the Camino, about 5 km before Viana do Castelo. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. The lodging itself is very spacious, with the beds in the loft above the main area.

I was a bit disappointed that the pool wasn't open when were there in late April. I didn't want to swim, but I would have loved to hang out poolside and soaked my weary feet! Otherwise no complaints!

My husband and I were walking the Camino Portuguese. This place was a tiny bit off the Camino. This place looked fabulous and IT WAS!! This is huge family owned vineyard estate. My husband met one of the owners, an elderly gentleman, who said his family has lived in the Anha valley since the year 1005!!! The property was gorgeous. Even after walking the Camino all day, I walked around the property to enjoy the gardens. I loved the 2 bedroom apt we rented. So cozy. We sat outside at our stone picnic table and enjoyed the view of the valley and shared a bottle of their wine. Their wine was a beautiful Vinho Verde- probably the best Vinho Verde we had the whole trip!! I would highly recommend a night here. Wait until you see the entrance gates, you know you are headed into a special place.

The property was beautiful. We had a two bedroom apartment which was very nice. The kitchen was stocked with milk, cereal, juice, butter and jam and cookies and a bottle of wine. They bought bread to us in the morning which was a pot of hot coffee and fresh bread. We should have planned ahead and bought food to cook dinner in town before we walked up here. There was a nice stone table outside our door where we drank our wine in the afternoon sun.

The property is exceptional. The appartment is spacious and sparkling clean, with well equipped kitchen and a breakfast and well needed coffee. It has beautiful period furniture and a fire place. Terrace with a splendid view. It is surrounded by gardens to walk in. My only regret is that we spent just one night there. The ocean is in a short drive, so is the city.

Very welcoming. Great place to unwind by the vines with a distance view out to the coast. Just a few minutes off the Camino route. The owner popped round to see me and check everything was OK. It most certainly was. Loved it.

Quiet place, nice wild garden, rustic athmosphere. Ants and some insects may bother, but in general that was ok and we really loved the place. Especially we loved the garden's wildness.

Wifi - but honestly i didn't really want to use internet in a fantastic place like this Breakfast - do not expect too much, but it's okay.

If you really want to enjoy a portuguese authentic countryside estate this is the perfect place! When you arrive here you feel yourself in a paradise far from the noisy cities - just vineyards, silence and peace! I also loved the room furnitured in a real authentic way. This place is not a boring average modern hotel, here you get the the real beautiful Portugal! This place is a perfect startpoint to discover North Portugal (Viana do Castello, Braga, Guimaraes, Porto) by car.
