As it was the first time we have stayed at the Enotel the staff in the dining room, after taking our room number, could have informed us it was a buffet service.

Air-conditioning works fine, except that I’m not sure if I did the settings right, it would get quite cold in the middle of the night and I had to manually turn it off.

It is at a great location, walkable distance from the city centre but also not too busy. We like the sea view of the room very much. The room is clean and big. The breakfast is amazing with great variety of choices! Facilities are great too. Hotel staff is very friendly and they gave my husband a flower for his birthday. If we will come back to Madeira, we would like to stay here again if the standard can be maintained.

The coffee was not the best, but it didn't really bother us.

We had such a good time there. Our corner room had a best view of the sea and the mountains, bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious. There were so many breakfast options from cereal, toast, eggs, fresh fruit, pasrties etc. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool as well as the jakuzzi one. The ladies at the spa desk were very friendly and flexible as we had to rearrange our massage like 3 times due to booked bustours running late.

Coffee and milk/creamer would have been a nice accompaniment to the kettle and cups that are supplied. Up a steep hill that may be bothersome to someone infirm.

Great stay at a hotel that was convenient for Funchal. Breakfast was plentiful and nice selection. Pool was good, however might have been a bit cold for some people. Plenty of sun beds and the hotel also supplies a bathrobe and a pool towel for your convenience. In all a lovely hotel that I would happily stay at again.

We had an amazing two nights stay here while touring the Island. The indoor heated pool was perfect since we traveled in March and the outdoor pool was a bit too chilly. Beautiful rooms and nice breakfast. The hotel parking was a great plus since we rented a car. The hotel might not be right in the center of Funchal but it is easily manageable on foot and there's even a bus stop close by with a quick and direct bus to the historic center.

It is located really close to city centre. The hotel has two pools and a spa. Rooms are clean, well renovated and with large balconies. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

It's a bit far away from the old town but there's bus stops to help you get there easily

We went on a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were so helpful, they gave us a room according to our preferences and always willing to help. The breakfast was very good, alot of choices, neat and organised. The room was impeccably clean, the views were beautiful, the sauna and interior heated pool are a must for anyone staying in March like we did.

Not much to be honest: Coffee at breakfast, evening programm at the bar (rather for elderly semesters), price for Aperol Spritz (around 15 EUR).

Spacious rooms, very quiet location (garden view), terrace, very friendly staff, indoor pool, comfortable mattress (if you like it more hard than worn out), pool area and indoor pool, large selection for breakfast. We were allowed to store our bikes in a room next to the reception (Thanks again!!!). great value for money!

Garage is a bit tight to maneuver, but nothing critical.

Very comfortable bed, clean room, delicious breakfast, nice location, free parking spots available either in the garage or in front of it. View from the balcony (sunrise) was amazing. Good location, where you can reach city center or waterfront by walking, while still quiet at night.

A little minus was bed mattress (harder than usually in hotels), but we knew it from other reviews, so it was not a problem.

Beautiful hotel in excellent location. It was convenient that there were several entrances. Liked both pools. Heated was really warm and with open air feeling. The unheated pool was 20 degrees warm and for me it was ok after sunbathing. We had a home like feeling, hotel was not overcrowded, so you can get table easily in breakfast buffet. Breakfast was excellent. Very kind and responsive staff. Room was nice. Although we booked garden view, we had a view on the ocean too. Very good water pressure in the shower. Hope to come back and will suggest for my friends for sure.
