I just don't like that our child gets up very early and eats early :) Maybe it would be nice to receive your amazing pastries a little earlier.

Among the most incredible experiences, we've had. Everything is based on true love for nature and animals. The staff and the owner are so welcoming and let you feel at home. Thank you for one of the best weekends and adventures we had. We will definitely return soon

We had a wonderful time at the farm houses. The staff was incredibly helpful and patient with the kids. Marisa gave us a great tour of the property, where we could see and interact with all the animals.

This is such a magical place, we arrived and were immediately greeted by amazing big hearted hosts. The rooms are clean, newly furnished, modern and comfy. We slept amazingly well. The farm is just incredible with a variety of animals that’s breathtaking! The staff are knowledgeable and accommodating. Our children did not want to leave and neither did we. I highly recommend this gem.

Loved the location near restaurants supermarkets and pharmacies yet in the middle of the woods. Great farm with beautiful animals. Very nice hosts. Cozy apartment, clean, spacy and modern.

Nothing springs to mind

We loved the farm. Fabulous hosts and staff, who ensured we felt at home. Great atmosphere and design - every single detail was thought about. For us it was particularly special as we have two very urban small children; seeing them relaxing and being able to interact with the animals was fabulous. Thank you for a brilliant experience

We booked this stay to do the Paiva walkways and cross the new 516 bridge with our children. The farm was so nice that the kids only wanted to stay there :) very well maintained farm with more than 600 animals and super friendly staff. The apartment was very comfortable - we found the bed great, which allowed us to have 3 good nights of rest. Definitely recommend for families with children that love animals!

Quintãs Farm Houses is a great place if you have kids that love animals and farm living, or if you want a break in quiet countryside. It sits however at the historical centre of the small portuguese city of Arouca, circa 40 minutes from Porto. The city has good options to indulge yourself in portuguese cuisine, as bakeries and restaurants, and is the home of Arouca abbey. Apart from the city, there are many other places to explore, since Quintãs is also next to Arouca GeoPark - a beautiful region with many attractions, from a splash in the river to the longest suspended bridge in Europe. That is, if your kids allow you to leave the farm and go anywhere else. The host is very welcoming. The staff is superb and brings magic to life for the kids - speaking the language is an advantage here, but it will probably work with every child confident enough to go along and feed the animals :^). Great stay, even better memories!

Fewer flies would be nice. But, on an animal farm, it is difficult to avoid them. It also would be nice to have local cheese and cured meats instead of the industrial version.

The property, lodging and surroundings, were exquisite and exceptional. The architecture of the lodging is spectacular and exquisite. It's located inside an animal farm with plenty of animals - farm animals and exotic animals. The farm employee, that doubles as guest's attendant, Tony, is genuinely nice. He loves both his jobs and is very entertaining and educational. We had the opportunity to learn quite a lot about the animals. We used the stay for a visit to Passadiços do Paiva and 516 bridge, but we learned there is a lot more to do and see in the area. We will have to come back for the stuff we didn't see. Tony even gave us a free tour of Arouca.

Everything was fantastic. Nothing to complain.

Absolutely fantastic. My daughter has the opportunity to contact, enjoy and learn a lot about nature and different species of animals. We enjoy a lot! Excelente staff.

Everything was perfect. The breakfast was very convenient with warm bread delivered at our door. The fridge was full with a good selection of options. We loved the modernity of this award winning site. Was a wonderful surprise. We only hope to be back soon to explore the farm in more detail. Since we only had one day to explore and we had book the Passadiços do Paiva, there was little time to spend in the farm which deserves at least one full day.

We had such a great time. The staff was so kind and great with my children! We loved seeing all of the animals. The breakfast was incredible and the amount was enough for all of us! We had a family of 6 in two apartments. My only bad thing is that we spent so much time outside the property- we barely had time to enjoy the beautiful insides!!
