Our stay was amazing and relaxing. José was a superb host and the glamping at Poldras was just what we needed as a getaway from our busy daily lives. The jacuzzi is amazing.

We were arriving after closing hours and staff made sure to stay late until we arrived. Gave great recommendations for food in town and let us stay a bit later in morning. We stayed in the chalet and was one of the most cozy places we've ever stayed with gorgeus view in morning... Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Thank you so much

There was nothing to dislike about this place.

Even though we had a short stay it's definitely a highlight of our trip so far. The host was so welcoming and nice to talk to us about adjacent landmarks. The little house had everything and more than one could ask for. The view from the window is something to return for. Everything is perfect, starting from the welcome snacks and drinks to the wonderful breakfast in the morning. The morning mango and bakery included were a delight.

We stayed in the one-bedroom chalet and absolutely loved it! The upstairs bedroom with the huge picture windows was so fantastic. We had rainy, chilly weather, so didn't take advantage of the outdoor seating and table, but it is really beautifully set up, inside and out. You can walk along the stream to get to a medieval bridge and, judging by the rope swing, it looked like you could swim in the stream in the summer. It's also a nice private location, at the end of the road with the three rental units well spaced out from one another. There's lots of nice sight-seeing and hiking to do in the area. We will definitely go back if we make another trip to Portugal.

Maybe just one thing and that is for the cooks among us, a second stove.

Perfect location, top accommodation ,very friendly owner. Quiet,safe and just a place to come to rest.Great breakfast.

No negatives with the property itself as this was excellent. However, the only thing I didn’t like was that the signage to the property ran out. It could do with another one or two signs along the narrow approach road to give you confidence you are still on the right track!

Really cute cottage nestled in the woods above Mondim De Basto. Wood and river views from the cottage and especially from the bath! it’s such a peaceful location and we really felt at one with nature here. The owner delivers a fresh and well put together continental breakfast every morning and leaves it at your door. This comprised of an excellent range of milk, fruit juice, fresh fruit, pastries, bread, cheese & ham. We stayed for 4 nights and the pastries and fresh fruit varied each day so it was a lovely surprise opening the box each morning to see what we’d got! The property is approx 3km from Mondim De Basto, but you can take the short cut and walk into town via the riverside path and medieval bridge with took us approx 22mins (approx 1.6km).

The oven wasn’t working when we arrived. The host tried to help over phone until late evening unfortunately the issue was bigger but he came by next morning to repair it. Meanwhile we used the A/C heater which was fine too. So not really a complaint here.

Everything! It’s so cozy and comfortable, the jacuzzi is amazing. The check in was easy, the contact to the host was really nice. He send us ideas for restaurants and trips in the area. We even got a bottle of wine from the host. We loved staying here.

The bedroom, on the top floor, has air conditioner. For some people it can work quite well, but for us it doesn't work, because of headache, so we did not use it often and the top floor gets cold without a heater.

the breakfast is amazing! fresh bread and variety of fruit. The house is quite small but very comfortable. It has a fireplace in the common area heating the kitchen and living room and José always provides you enough firewood and is always available to help and makes you feel at home.

Nothing! Everything was perfect!

Amazing little cottage in the woods and next to a nice river! The surroundings are very quite and "Mondim de Basto" is very close in case you need it for dinning and shopping. We didn't meet the hosts but we were very well taken care of! Specially with breakfast which was amazing. Full of goodies!!! The wifi signal is fantastic and the bathtub in the room gives that extra romantic touch to the whole scene! Don't hesitate to stay here if you're looking for a quiet place to spend some time with your loved one!
