Old building in need of a little TLC. There were some homeless people sleeping close by but it is a big city so can be expected.

Fantastic location. Although an old building in an area close to the gardens in the square, I felt safe, including late at night. There are lovely bars & restaurants nearby and it is very close to trindade Metro.

In the studio building, bathrooms need much better cleaning, especially the toilet, which was not properly cleaned.

A small leak in the bathroom sink, not a big deal, still usable. Studio on top floor with no lift, which was fine for me but may not be suitable for other visitors.

The studio was very comfortable, clean and had good facilities. Kitchen, seating area and TV added bonus. Good location, a short walk from the main sights. Very good price. I arrived early and was able to check in which was great.

Room limited only to two double beds, but it was a minor issue. There are drowers under each bunk bed where you can store your staff.

Good quality of mattress, Really good breakfast (included). In the city center, short walk from University of Porto. Supermarket nearby, lots of restaurants as well. Kitchen/common area where you can rest, drink wine.

I wasn’t sure if we were getting complaints from neighbors or if the staff were coming to us themselves, but we were asked to be quiet at 9:55pm, then again later when we had quieted down. I just thought it was weird they would ask us to be quiet so early in the evening in a hostel where young people (college students) tend to stay when they are traveling. We could really feel the springs in our beds.

Breakfast was a perfect European snack and coffee. Everything was very clean and well-kept. High ceilings, lots of light, the perfect hostel! Towels were free, breakfast was free, etc.

I didn't like the fact that the cleanliness of the kitchenette was not the best and definitely hated the lack of noise isolation of the studio (towards the outside street). They should definitely improve this last point, as it strongly worsens sleep quality.

I liked a lot the location (very central), the mattress quality and the restroom facilities (properly renovated). The staff was also quite nice.

The room had just 1 mirror in the bathroom and we were a group of girls. So, getting ready took longer as we had to wait around for our turn. A full length mirror in the outside of the bedroom would have been nice.

The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. They even gave us complementary breakfast. Totally worth for your money. It wasn't loud or too crowded. We were very happy with our find.

It was said the studio gets cleaned once every 3 days but the cleaning lady knocked on the door and just asked if we need fresh towels, she didn’t clean the place or change the bed sheets or take the trash.

The location is very central and the studio was well equipped: Wi-Fi- kettle - mini fridge - kitchen stuff.

Really nice room and very comfy bed. Breakfast is super basic and you have to wash your dishes afterwards. I enjoyed my stay but I think there are better options for the price. Staff is very friendly.

Check in was a bit difficult as our unit was a little way away in another street and as we were in unfamiliar surroundings, it took us a little while to get our bearings. Never the less, everything was fine and we enjoyed our stay in Porto
