Advance notice of when evening dining was not available would have been helpful to enable itinerary planning. However, there are many very good alternative restaurants close by.

Our room was compact but clean, charming and extremely quiet, despite, busy traffic in the Placa. The ensuite shower room had toiletries, robes and slippers available. The beds were very comfortable. Heating/ cooling system worked well. There was a excellent buffet breakfast choice. Evening dining, when available, was very tasty. Staff in the hotel and the associated kiosk, in the Placa, were all friendly and helpful. Ideal location to get to Av. Da Liberdade, Restauradores area and Rossio station. Highly likely we'll visit here again.

Friendly staff and room were large, clean and very comfortable. The hotel was situated opposite a beautiful park and only a short distance from the metro and town centre. A perfect base from which to explore.

The room was large and well furnished with antiques. The bed was very large and comfortable. There was the use of a mini bar and nespresso coffee machine. The wardrobe was plenty big enough for the two us for our four night stay. Ten coat hangers and ample drawer space in the room. Large, very powerful shower. Bath robes and slippers provided and the towels were changed daily. We were overlooking the rear of the property onto the street. There were three large windows, with shutters, blackout curtains and thinner curtains, so plenty of privacy. Breakfast was buffet style but there was the option of having omelettes or fried eggs cooked to order. Plenty of choice and good quality ingredients. The hotel also managed the kiosk located in the park opposite. A lovely place to sit outside, even in December! Staff were friendly and helpful; looked after our luggage after we arrived early. The hotel was in a good district very close to public transport and within walking district to the centre of the city.

The breakfast was fairly expensive but absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options and treats. Make sure you have it at least once on your stay. The location of the hotel was very good. We were able to walk wherever we wanted to.

We were awaken by water licking from the ceiling and the electricity was cut off however the hotel quickly moved us to another room, they were very accomodating, gave us packed breakfast to the airport and gave us free accomodation for the day.

The best location close to Avenida and shops, across a beautiful park and very helpful , friendly and accommodating staff.

Breakfast is excellent! Better than we had on our cruise ship. Definitely recommend. Location is excellent, right behind the Main Street of the city center, quite and convenient. Staffs were very friendly. English communication is excellent.
