The walk up from the town Uber rides are a necessity rather than a convenience.

Fantastic panoramic views of Albufeira and the coastline. We were made to feel as though we were more than just guests. The staff are very warm and welcoming. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast is a buffet continental style with plenty of selection.

    A kettle in the room!

Location was perfect. Only a short walk to the beach and any other relevant amenities. Staff were always helpful and pointed out several places to explore.

Room Keys had to be handed back to reception before leaving the hotel every time. This was incredibly annoying as we would have to hand them back even if we were just going to the pool or supermarket. Reception staff was generally good about staying at the reception - though we did have to wait to get our key back a few times.

Nice rooms with lovely balcony. The pool area was lovely and quiet. The breakfast was fine - continental. There is a supermarket close by (7mins) and the beach is about a 10/15 min walk.

In booking and also in the reception there's an information, that the hotel offers washing service but that's not the case. There's no air conditioning in the room. There are very few power plugs in the room so it was problematic for two people to charge phones at the same time.

The location is really good, close to the beach. You can go to the restaurant terrace with your own food and drinks and enjoy the view. The room was being cleaned every day.

It is too much up the hill to get there walking, takes a while but not too far. Breakfast could be better with some more meat options.

The woman at the reception was super sweet and friendly. She is a perfect receptionist definitely. The view from the breakfast area is nice. Having parking at the front door was really practical.

The location of the property was in a quiet area with lovely views above the old town. It was in a great location as it was only a few minutes walk from the beach and a few minutes from the centre of the old town. The staff were amazing. Cassia was very welcoming and helpful before and when I checked in. I spoke with Nazare on most days and she is really friendly and made guests feel so comfortable and welcome. She was very professional and is a real asset to the hotel. I never met the cleaning team but they did a great job in keeping the rooms very tidy, every day. The rooms were spacious and great value for money. I would definitely come back again and had a great time visiting Albufeira and the Algarve for the first time. Well done and thank you to all the staff at the hotel for being superb at looking after the guests so well :)

Unfortunately there wasn’t much ceiling/floor insulation and one of the nights there was a lady above us just casually walking around in high heels at midnight for about half an hour on tiled floors which was a pit of a nuisance cause it was super loud not really the hotels fault though.

Was a nice big place, not too far from old town and got a nice view of the ocean. Staff on the front desk were lovely.

No access to tea or coffee, unless bought at the bar, balconies were too close together, breakfast was acceptable. No information about the area available. Bedside light was dangerous, not correctly wired, bulb fitting kept falling off. Bathroom smelt of urine.

Location good, beds were clean, pillows a bit lumpy.

Definitely you have to request 5th floor and sea view. (if they have availability). Very professionally run hotel in a great location at the top of the hill overlooking the beach line. Free parking outside.

Room 203. The bath needed to be cleaned more or replaced with a new one. No light fittings to the ceiling only on the walls which I had to walk around the room with the door open at night to let light in to see the wall light switches. Not enough power sockets, none near my bed so had to unplug the TV to charge my mobile phone.

The location to the marvellous and atmospheric old town and the beautiful golden sandy beaches with the lovely clean blue relaxing and calming Atlantic ocean. The staff were very polite and requested taxies for me whenever I needed one.

    - The beds were terribly uncomfortable. Both of our backs would hurt each night because we would often turn on our side at night and the beds were extremely firm. Neither of us are overweight. - My partner asked one staff person for a coke zero and she said she didn't have that. The next person we talked to said yes they have had it. - You are expected to leave your hotel room key at the front desk but sometimes the front desk staff are missing for a bit or they will be taking a long time to help someone else in person or on the phone and you have to wait a while (sometimes very long) to finally get your hotel key. - We asked if we could leave our backpacks with one of the hotel staff because we had several hours to wait on our train. She said yes but that we had to leave them in an open area in the lobby. She had plenty of space behind the desk. We told her another staff member said we could put them behind the desk but she didn't care. She then said something like "well what do you expect since we are a 2 star hotel". We also saw another guest complaining about her but we don't know the details. - Cleaning took our food that wasn't even near the trash one day that we expected to eat when we got back. - Even a staff member complained about the heat in the hotel during a time of the year which could make it unpleasant

Beautiful view from floor 5. Quiet area. 24 hour staff. Easy walking distance to old downtown, beach and to a marina. One really nice and friendly staff person that went out of their way to help people. There are a limited amount of rooms with AC and they were kind enough to make sure we got one.

More choice at breakfast - more veggies. Would have been great if coffee was available all day as there were no facilities in the room for this. The fridge was very noisy especially at night. Restaurant staff not as friendly.

Great room with large balcony, very clean. Comfortable bed, friendly and helpful reception staff. Great views from balcony, pool was fresh and clean.
