Shower was over-bath and caked with limescale, flow was little more than a dribble, useless unless you're a hamster,so couldn't have a shower, key didn't work in outside door, smelt damp and musty, oversized furniture halfway across bathroom door, top sheet was too small for the bed and could feel mattress springs

Perfect for our one-night stay! Very close to the train station and owners are very kind. The room itself was bigger than it looked in the pictures and had everything we needed.

Our stay in Porto was perfect and the guesthouse had a lot to do with that. We were treated like family, so welcomed and looked after, I have no words for how polite and kind and generous Antonio and Ana are. We are definitely going back to Veneza when we visit Porto again.

The beds are old and they make a lot of noise when you move in the night, they are comfortable though.

You will not sleep here (at all) as this is on a main road. The mattress was also one of the worst I have ever slept on. This is a cheap choice but unless you can sleep through a thunderstorm I wouldn't advise staying here...

Very noisy room - no air conditioning, very hot and stuffy at night if you want to keep the window closed. Very basic and dated bathroom facilities… asked you to leave the key at reception with no one there so take all valuables with you!

Nice staff, were accommodating and helpful but didn’t speak any English! Comfortable bed, could do with nicer pillows… easy walking distance to centre of Porto

A little loud on a relatively busy street, I didn't realize we would need to pay cash upon arrival, but the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. But overall a lovely stay.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and lovely. Our stay was excellent. Rooms were quite comfortable.

Honestly I was sleeping during my military service way better. Be prepared if you are going to stay during the winter season because there is no heating equipment in the room. I recommend using three four blankets because of the age of the building the isolation is zero, you feel the wind inside the room. I tolareted it because I was staying just for one night but it needs a proper fixing either by providing of a device or something. Also there was a constant rain/water dropping noise coming from the balcony which adds extra negative point to my experience. Bring ear clogs in case with you.

The location was not bad. At least easy to reach city center by walking. Close to metro station.

1. Room does not look like as shown in pictures. Pictures are atleast 10-15years old. 2. Old, dark house as well as room with 0 facilities. Paid hugh amount of money as we were 3people and staying for 2 night, room does not have heating, furmiture is atleast 50years old and strange old stuff smell. Room was freezing, when asked landlady she said its not cold. Though it was 18 degree. Regarding the washroom was totally mess, no lock with holes in door. Did DIY to fix issues the door. About lightning, there is one white bulb hanging with string. No ventilation, windows and their covers are very old. 3. For 3 people, 2 - 1980s blankets were provided and they were long in the cupburd which makes them dusty. Third person took blanket from store room and because of unwashed blanket, had allergy and sore throat. 4. Property only accept cash - we wanted to request for refund to find new place as it was not upto the standard of living as a guest but no chance as we paid all cash as we checked in. 5. I would ask booking.com to refund us and remove this property.

Location is okay with lots of tourist attractions around including resturants. Friendliness of host.

Always a warm welcome from the lovely owners 😁 Great location near to Campanha train station & Taxis. Plenty of bars & restaurants within walking distance. We will be back again soon. Obrigada. 😉👍
