An amazing host with a beautiful property,a perfect location if you’ve your own mode of transport. A lovely apartment and beautiful garden. Definitely a best stay so far. Ligia was extremely kind and very responsive, she also suggested us nice bakery/cafe nearby and there were stores in walking distance.

- What you can't figure out from google maps, if you don't pay enough attention is that everything here is on steep hills, so is this house. If you're planning to walk from the city center to the house every day a few times, forget about it. There are many busses that you can take or use the BOLT app, which costs as much as the bus ticket most of the time

- Ligia is a Great Host and made our stay even better - The place has everything you need. Beautiful bathroom, functional kitchen and a table outside the room, which overlooks the little green jungle that Ligia created :) - It's a very convenient location, as it's near by 2 bus stops and you can hope on a bus and get to the city center in no time - 5-10 minutes from the place, you will find a nice bakery, supermarket and a grocery shop with nice vegetables/fruits - The airport bus passes by from here as well, so you don't need to go to the city center :)

Everything was excellent! Apartment is really cozy, fully and very good equipped, very comfortable bed, beautiful view from terrace. Ligia is very kind and helpful. Place is not far away from centrum, but it is quite hard up hill to go back to place, but for me was okay, additional cardio/hiking ;). For sure I’ll be back to this place while next time in Madeira, I recommend!

The location was just 5minutes from Funchal centre. which is very close and quick from Rochinha . The host was brilliant and very friendly which had made our stay special, nothing was not to much for her to help when needed . My family and I will definitely stay here again.

Owner was very nice and she recommended us the bakery around the corner, which is the absolute highlight. There are fruits growing in the garden. And the house is uphill, so the most convenient way is to go by bus or car.

The kitchen did not have any windows which made it hard to air out and have daylight. So the temperature was always 24 degrees.

The host Ligia. We arrived early and called our host because the place was difficult to find. There are multiple houses with the same number. Fortunately Ligia was very helpful and we could enter our studio. Our baby had a great baby bed and there was a kitchen so we could cook dinner if we had an early night. The studio was clean and nearby center Funchal.

There was some mold on the kitchen cabinets and the bathroom one could have been cleaner. Also, if you do not like cats (it is not our case as we are huge cat lovers and have one of our own) you might be bothered by the feces and vomit in the yard.

We had hot water and good WI-FI connection, the kitchen was equipped, no loud noises besides the cars passing through the road; if you are a light sleeper, it might be an issue. I slept well, but my husband was able to hear them sometimes. Also the communication with Ligia went well and she was friendly.

Good location close to a bus stop. Walk down to city center takes around 15mins. For adult it's possible to go up on foot but it's quite challenging. For a family it's necessary to go back with a bus. There are multiple buses that stops very close to apartment. The room was quite spacious and very clean. We managed to get a good sleep with 4 YO kid (he slept in kid bed). Very nice owner, who is extra helpful ;)

The best cosy home to stay in Funchal! Lovely studio space with kitchenette and patio with great views. In a local area with good bus transport links, a range of shops and cafes, near Botanic Gardens and city levada. A brilliant place to be based with a warm and welcoming host.

Busy road opposite meant continual noise, easing midnight to 6am but otherwise bad. Steep 20 min walk uphill from city centre. On arrival, at the eta we d given in advance, there was no one there. Messages went unseen, finally had to make an international call (I have a UK phone) to reach the owner, who was 15 mins away. An hour on the busy road outside in the sun was not the best start to our stay.

Spacious, well equipped, studio with kitchen and bathroom, lovely terrace overlooking city set in beautifully kept gardens. Walking distance (20 mins steep hill tho) to farmers market area, near buses and with good local shops just round the corner.

The accommodation is on a hill, it takes a bit of effort to get up from the center, but it's worth it. :)

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Well equipped - fridge, stove, dishes. View of the entire city, there is a shop, bakery, and pharmacy nearby. Possibility of sitting on the terrace. Mrs. Ligia was very nice and there was no problem. We would love to come back sometime. Thank you for all.

It might be a little bit noisy during the night because of the traffic, on the other hand it's helpful that the bus stop as well as a bakery, market etc. are in the close vicinity.
