A lovely place to stay. The beach is a 5 min walk. A lot of restaurants near the rooftop. Very friendly and helpful host. We highly recommend the rooftop guesthouse.

The guest house is situated right in the centre of Alvor but away from all the restaurants on the main strip so nice and peaceful. The views over the harbour across to Lagos are exceptional. We stayed in the top floor apartment with its own shower room. It was very well appointed with easy access to the roof top area. There was an honesty bar on the joint balcony with soft drinks and beer @ 1.50 euros each. Sophie our hoist was professional, helpful and friendly and catered to all our needs. Just a shame that we only had two nights there as they have worked so hard on the property.

There was nothing not to like.

Absolutely loved staying at Rooftop Guesthouse in Alvor. Impressed by the attention to detail and the facilities. Smart TV, safe and fridge in our twin room as well as a free coffee machine and cookies in the shared kitchen. Tastefully decorated and very clean. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Totally recommended. The location is also very good. Close to harbour, beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. Next to a lovely church. Great view from the rooftop terrace and nice seating area. Also an honesty bar for soft drinks available.

There was no cutlery/plates/bowls in kitchen, although I get it is intended for coffee only.

This was such a great value for money. Planning on revisiting. Rooftop with 360 view is accessible for all rooms as well as kitchen.

Our room was beautiful and comfortable! The rooftop was spectacular - amazing views!! Little details made our stay even better, from the cookies available in the kitchen to the extra attention paid to decor. Sofie was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome! When we return to Alvor, we will definitely stay here again!

I didn’t realise our two rooms were not en suite. Our beds were pushed together even though we were four individuals. The rooms were quite small for our group

The guesthouse was incredible. It was intimate, beautiful interior, and the location is brilliant. The complimentary coffee is a very nice touch and the coffee is really delicious too.

Rooftop guesthouse was the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in the Algarve. I loved the cleanliness of the room and facilities , the aesthetic and finishing touches of both rooms I stayed in was amazing. The owner Sofie was so nice and accommodating during our stay. There was free cookies and a coffee machine for use in the shared kitchenette area, and a lovely area to sit where we would have croissants or breakfast every morning. The rooftop terrace had the nicest view of Alvor and was the ideal place to watch the sunset, with the addition of the “honesty bar” where you could take drinks at your own discretion and leave money. Location was amazing as was located on a street right off the main strip/town, approx 1 min walk from all the best restaurants. This was by far one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed, will definitely be back.

Cute, new guest house in central Alvor with an amazing rooftop - definitely take advantage of it. A nice refuge from the more busy towns in Algarve. The room was well designed and very clean - looks like the pictures. Only stayed for a night, but would definitely go back! They also offer to rent out the whole place (4 rooms).

Parking can be crouwded in the evenings

Alvor is surounded by nature reserve, there are sand dunes that apear during low tide. Rooftop is the best place to observe it. It have clean minimalistic but newly furnished rooms, place for coffee and tea and free cookies. Nearby there is restorant that serves local fresh clams every evening.
