Instructions on how to access the property. I had received a booking no. and a pin no. Outside the property there were 2doors and what looked like 2 pin-coded key boxes, or just a PIN code to gain access. It wasn’t clear which was the right door. And fortunately a local just passing by said I had to phone, that the owners or the people who looked after the place were just round the corner. My Portuguese friends tried to phone. It kept saying the o was wrong, but it was the one I had been given. Luckily 2 guests who had already checked in, used their phone which seemed to be the same number and that worked. Them all was well. It needs much more precise instructions. Other places give you more details and ones that work without having to rely on passers by or other guests - by chance.

Location. The room was not fully occupied. It was clean and had toiletries provided.

The mattress was somewhat shaky.

Good private shower, full access to the kitchen, no noise from outside, cleanliness, location in the historic centre, street parking (free on Saturday afternoon and Sunday)

Walls were very thin so you could hear everything, host didn’t send any information about the check in process, there was mold in the bathroom

It took the staff 25+ minutes from the moment I called to come, and give me access to the room. The guy that arrived with the keys didn't speak any English either.

you could hear everything between the rooms. if someone talked in the corridor, the living room or in their rooms, it was heard in our room.

While it is a non-smoking facility, it was reeking of cigarette smoke - probably guests taking advantage of the absence of smoke detectors. Could use a bit of extra maintenance - there were some yellowed stains and mold spots.

Central accommodation - it was right behind one of the buildings of the main square. The place seemed clean and the room was quite spacious. The lady who attended us was very nice. There's a tv and air conditioning. The room had an extra comforter. The kitchen was also quite well-equipped. Good price-value ratio.

The room was super smell by the cigarette from outside and duct, my clothes got the smell and I have to wash them... The bedding didn't look clean, I don't know if they change the pillow covers..

There is very little light coming from the window. Moreover, you don’t have much privacy because the neighbours can look into the room.

We slept very well in the bed and it is very calm there. Furthermore, there was shower gel and shampoo available in individual small bottles.

Don’t know, had to sleep in the car!

Absolutely nothing, booked then advised it be arriving around 2130-2230, when I arrived at 2200 the phone number didn’t work, finally got hold of receptionist at 2215 thanks to a hostel stayer, only to be told I couldn’t stay and no refund! This property should be reported

The staff were horrible and lazy. The rooms were dirty and it looked like the sheets were not changed in 1 week. The staff also turned up 1 hour late for check in. This is the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I would never come here again.

One bathroom for more than 16 people! The use of two rules for entry times: foreigners 15:00 and locals anytime if the bed is ready. I stayed there three days and witnessed Portugese people entering at 11:00 and going straight to sleep on their allocated bunk! Bed linen and pillow were straight from a prison cell. The room was about 8 m2 with four bunkbeds so it was definitely a prison cell!

ANNOYING PORTUGUESE GIRL PLAYING LOUD MUSIC, SPEAKING REALLY LOUD ON THE PHONE AND THE SECOND NIGHT TALKING AND LAUGHING WITH HER FRIEND UNTIL 1 AM AND THEN TAKING THEIR BACKPACKS AND GOING OUT OF THE HOSTEL AT 1 AM AND COMING BACK AT 2.30 OR SO. VERY DIFFICULT TO SLEEP WITH ALL THOSE NOISES AND LIGHTS ON THAT LATE.
