Hard to come up with anything, but maybe the bathroom didn't ventilate that well and could be a bit moist. But we stayed in winter and I don't think you'll have this problem in normal weather. Also, it wasn't a big thing at all. Once again, Ida helped by drying our towels in her dryer so they were super nice to use after.

We loved staying here, Ida and Robert were wonderful hosts. Ida really took care of us, everything we needed was provided. The place is beautifully designed and decorated, impeccably clean and the breakfast the best we've had. There was even a guest fridge in the common kitchen where you can store your food. We loved the dogs and the cat that slept on top of the tarp in the garden! Location could not be better with just a few minutes drive to beautiful beaches, the town and pretty much everywhere in the Algarve. We will mostly remember this place with the kind owners. They had left for us some port, which we really enjoyed; the local newspaper and some free maps of the area. Everything beautiful and easy, thank you Ida!

There was nothing to dislike. It's perfect

Everything! Absolutely everything! Location.. Central on the Algarve, easy to get to the "popular" places and to the lesser known more relaxing ones. Also, very peaceful location, only a twenty minute walk into Lagoa centre where there are a few lovely local restaurants. No tourist traps here. You will need a car though here, but to be honest if you really want to experience the Algarve you should always hire a car. The rooms So very comfortable and clean. The water pressure in the shower was excellent! Brilliantly fluffy, cosy towels. Felt like a home from home. The breakfast There was a kitchen area which was open 24/7 with a trust box for tea and coffee should you want them outside of breakfast hours..same applied for bottles of water. There was also a guest fridge where you could store bits and bobs which make made great use of for beach snacks and drinks. The breakfast itself, so much choice. A lot of thought has clearly gone into this. Something for everyone. Communal areas Plenty of seating outside, with a table and chair outside each room which was lovely to sit having breakfast or in the evening to relax in the piece and quiet with a glass of wine. Parking.. On site, free and plenty for the amount of guests that can stay. The Host. Ida is wonderful. She is so incredibly kind and thoughtful, she's approachable and not over bearing. She respects your space and is always on hand should you need help. She pops her head around in the mornings to check on you at breakfast and leaves you be. Whilst I was there another traveler had issues with her hire car (on that note avoid Sixt) but Ida and her husband were so kind, you could see the genuine concern they had for her as a solo traveler, I saw them offering to help and arranging for vehicle recovery. Quite simply they are both very kind and genuine people who make you feel very relaxed and at home. Other bits...

Everything! A beautiful, tranquil setting, pretty property to look at. Lovely dining area outside together with individual tables and chairs outside each apartment. Inside the rooms were of a good size. And, alleluia! good storage for clothes and cases - something that’s overlooked in lots of places. Lovely shower room . Clean and well maintained. Ida was a wonderful host - warm and friendly and gave good information on local restaurants/activities. We were leaving early to catch our flight so too early for breakfast and Ida packed us a breakfast for en route. So thoughtful. She and her husband are just lovely individuals.

It's a lovely Bed and Breakfast that we enjoyed very much. The hosts are very friendly and made our experience memorable. We can highly recommend. We stayed for 1 week and it's so easy to go to the different and lovely beaches that Algarve has to offer.

WC doesn't have adequate place to hang towels after the shower. And the ammenities could be better - Shammpoo and Bath Gel were too small.

Room is like a small house inside a garden with good facilities to ear outside. The concept of breakfast self-service from Kitchen to the garden is interesting. I wonder in raining days... but we were in shinning days and it was perfect.

Having to leave

Ida is a wonderful host who makes you feel at home. The suites are comfortable, clean and very well illuminated. Every morning you can enjoy the breakfast outside surrounded by nature.

It is an absolute bay for those who are looking for tranquility in a touristic area! The cottage is well located, it takes about 10min in scoter to 2 main beaches, and close to 7 hanging valleys trail.

The location is close to Lagoa. My friend and I didn’t drive but it was convenient enough to uber/walk from Lagoa. We used it as a base to explore Carvoeiro and bengail. The place was just as pictured. The room was clean and the breakfast was great, especially the homemade baked goods. Would definitely recommend!

Not that easy to locate, once found no further problems. The place has a road next to it, not in any way causing intrusive noise to the peace and quiet of the place. However, it does need some caution on exiting, as the usual excess of zeal of Portuguese driving needs one to take a little more care when leaving. Speed bumps would be a help. The council or highways people are responsible.

Breakfast excellent, cleanliness of the first order. An oasis of calm, run and owned by people who know what their doing. No TV an added and unexpected bonus. (ideal for newlyweds) We managed to escape wars, politicians, Putin, etc. Very helpful owners could not do enough for us. NOT in an intrusive way, I hasten to add.

the room was clean, cosy and modern. it had everything. the setting was lovely inside a big garden. Ida was an amazing hostess attending to every detail including a hot water bottle on our chilly arrival. the breakfast was amazing. everything was fresh from the garden.

Nothing could have been better, it was so close to Marinha beach; a highlight of the Algarve. If you plan on staying here I would recommend renting a car but to do Algarve properly you need a car anyways!

The location is great, very quite and 10 min away from Praia de Carvoeiro by car. Portimão is at 15 km away, which is very accessible. Near Quinta Aida are some markets (4 min until Intermarché or Aldi). The hosts are very friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was great and the room was spacious, clean. We were a group of six friends, the big table was a nice place to stay outside in the evening. Every room has a small table in front of it. The property is beautiful, clean and surrounded by trees and plants. Ida was a great host!
