Usually you get clean towels everyday, even saw everyday changing sheets, here you had to Pay for that. But it wasnt much money so it wasnt big deal

The Hostel is clean, welcoming, with a fresh, friendly and modern vibe, from the lounge room to dorms. Located in a very quiet neighborhood, walkable distance from the centre. Being there certainly contributed to making my visit to the Azores a memorable time. Loved it!

Paulo and his wife are very hospitable and nice owners of this hostel.  Paulo tries to make every guest feel comfortable and like at home: he communicates with guests, interested in them, gives useful tips on visiting the island, the route, transport. It was very nice of him when he lent me his raincoat for free for a day when it was raining! The hostel is always clean! There is no noise from other guests, somehow travelers are selected in this place, respectfully treating others. It is cozy to be in a common area where you can eat, sit on the couch, read, watch TV, sit at a laptop. Breakfast is also included for this price: toast with ham and cheese, toast with peanut paste, jam, milk (normal and lactose-free) with wheat and corn flakes, tea, coffee, orange juice. Wi-Fi is very good and fast. Lockers that can be locked using your electronic card for your room. Good location in the center. Rent of towels for the shower 2,5 €, for the beach 2,5 €.

The location is good but it’s not right in the middle of all the restaurants, bars, etc. it worked out fine but just FYI. The streets around the hostel are very quiet, but the busier city center is only 8 minutes walking away. Most of my tours couldn’t pick up at the hostel either and instead asked me to go somewhere more central.

The staff went out of their way for my stay, specifically helping me schedule all of my Taxis. The beds were very comfortable and had privacy curtains, which I love. The whole place felt very secure - when you check in, you get a card that unlocks your room, your locker, the building, etc. all doors are locked by default and can only be accessed with a card. For a solo traveler like me, the security brought a ton of peace of mind.

The suite was exactly like promised and it had everything we needes for our stay. I would like to thank the friendly and helpful staff of the hostel and especially Paulo. He gave us the best tips to explore the island, helped us to rent the car and was just very nice and super helpful with everything. He really made our stay in Açores!

If you arrive late, you are already paying for a night that you hardly used and on top a late fee that is almost the price of a room.

The place is exceptionally clean. The manager Paulo is extremely helpful and nice. The best thing about the hostel is that they thought of all the small little things that can make a stay better. A light and outlet next to your bed, an organizer to put your stuff. The showers with 2 hooks and a bench to put your stuff. The sinks with cabinets and individual mirrors. It made getting organized in the morning just so easy. The breakfast was nice and even there, they have different types of milk.

Stayed for one night as a stopover. Paulo (owner and a local) was incredibly helpful in helping us plan our trip around Sao Miguel. Breakfast was basic but adequate.

Very nice helpful staff, who helped us order a taxi to the airport and gave us tips on what to see around and even on how to get to the other islands. There was a mixup in our booking but because of that, we got upgraded to a bigger room, which was very nice 🙂

Paolo (owner of the place) was very helpful with us, taking over an 1 hour of his time to talk to us and give us great recommandations of what to do in the island, taking our needs into account, taking care of our friend who arrived late, etc. I highly recommend!!
