The location, the amenities, having a small fridge a kettle coffee and tea was an extra, and very welcomed, The fact that you’re at a walking distance to a typical grill restaurant that serves very well and at a popular Portuguese price. Bacalhau na brasa, vitelo grelhado, entremeada etc , a must go !

Beautiful apartment/suite with everything need to have a comfortable and a good stay. Great location, close to stores, restaurants, laundry service and transportation. The host/owner, bot the man (Bruno) and his wife, are incredibly polite and nice people. They go beyond the rules and policies to ensure that you have a great stay. Great value for the money. I would highly recommend to stay here.

It was a late booking for me and my husband. As we arrived we received a very warm welcome by the host with a friendly smile. She showed us the facilities and quickly we were set for the night. I do recommend this place, the room was very neat and clean. We had the restful night that we needed after a long trip.

The location is great - close to where I needed to be. The heaters were on when I arrived so the accommodation was warm and welcoming. Everything I needed was in the room and as described, which made preparing for the self catering very easy.

We stayed in the summer and the heat forced us to turn on the portable air conditioning. However, during the night the same could not be turned on due to the noise produced and thus the room became a little too hot.

The property is comfortable, clean and ideal for a trip with children, because in addition to a double bed it also has two single beds in the room.

I had a wonderful stay at the Rustic House Fundão! The rooms were excellent, and I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained all the facilities were. The staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met throughout my stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this Rustic House Fundão to others!

There was nothing I can say bad about our stay or the facilities of the Rustic House.

Everything. Host and his wife were very nice and easy to speak with. We asked for a larger size frying pan to accommodate our three person cooking and they brought over a larger pan with lid and were so very nice about the request. The apartment is outstanding and in a perfect walking location for the street market and the downtown area. Very tidy and clean place to rent. We have been traveling for a month and this was one of the best places we have rented to stay.

I can't think of anything that could have been improved. Amazing place to stace while in Fundao, Portugal.

The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had all the anemities needed for our stay. It was close to center of town and had cafe and mini market, church and pharmacy all within walking distance. We will definitely come back. We highly recommend.

It can be challenging to find a parking spot very close but a little walk don’t hurt anyone.

Friendly staff, the suite was super, spacious and nicely decorated, we had all we needed. Bed was comfortable to sleep, this is not that easy to find these days ! Location is just a step from the center of the city .

The location was great, right in the center, so it was pretty easy to have breakfast (this was a self-catering guest house).

Very clean, modern and comfortable. We stayed in the family suite for 12 nights over Christmas. Really appreciated the midstay clean and change of linen. Excellent location for Fundao and exploring the local and wider area. Easy access to the Serra da Gardunha and Estrella, Belmonte, Sortelha, Castelo Novo, Covilha, Castelo Branco and the Xisto villages.

We ran into difficulties while on vacation and very much needed the use of a telephone as we did not have a cell phone so having a land line would have eased some of our stress as it took us a couple of days to get access to one.

The location was good and near the center, the church was just around the corner even though we never went. We had a car and never had any problems parking near the premises. I would stay here again, for sure and would recommend it.
