Maria is a wonderful host! She was friendly and always ready to help. The kitchen was clean, as well as the bathroom. I slept in a room of 8 beds, you have lockers, all the basics are really there and all functioning! But the best thing of this hostel is really Maria! :)

I immediately felt at home when I walked in and Maria welcomed me. It honestly was so homey and cosy and the location is perfect. I had the best time with the other guests and the volunteer Estelle, we cooked and went out altogether. Thank you for having me, I will be back :)

I had the best time at 70s Hostel! The location was super nice, everything you needed was nearby as well the surf spot in front of the location wasn’t crowded and very nice. I met fantastic people - it was so easy to get connected with them. The heart of the Hostel is the owner Maria who is absolutely gorgeous! She creates a wonderful warm atmosphere, answered every question honestly, and helps you directly with every problem. She puts all her love into the hostel and it made my visit unforgettable. I will come back for sure and do recommend the Hostel 100 % ♥️

Kitchen is a bit small so not easy to cook with other people.

Maria is a lovely host, always super available. The atmosphere in the hostel was very nice and given its small size it was very easy to meet other travelers. Clean and with everything you need.

the showers are very small and it‘s not easy to work since there is just one „living room“ for everyone, but for just a few hours it‘s totally fine

I‘ve had a lot of fun here and enjoyed the hostel life. It‘s very small so you get to know your roommates well and can spend a lot of time together. I would definitley book the 70s‘ again if I will come back to Ericeira one day!

Nothing, the place is cozy as and everything was great!

The entire vibe of the hostel is awesome! Staying at the 70s hostel is like visiting an old friends house and Maria could not be more incredible and accomodating! Wish I could have stayed longer! Would 100% recommend to anyone, epic chilled small hostel vibe, everyone gets to know one another and you make lifelong friends!

The house is rather small, so it's a bit cramped when the hostel is full.

All of it :). About two years ago, I stayed in this hostel for 2 weeks. Because it was such a good hostel with a chilled vibe, I decided to stay here again with a friend. Again, the vibe was chill and Maria is just amazing :). It is a small hostel (14 guests max) and it is cleaned every day. Oh yes, the beds have curtains! Every room has big windows, also the bathroom has a window which you can open. I can actually keep writing about this hostel. My advice: just book and go!

It‘s not the most modern hostel, some parts are perhaps a bit small and my mattress wasn’t the best but it was still very comfortable

Maria is the best - I asked if I could be on the bottom bunk and she organised it for me without a problem. She is lovely and so welcoming. She let us use beach towels, and sun cream from the hostel which I’ve never seen at a hostel before. A very chill vibe loved it thanks Maria 👑 Also you cannot fault the location - you are bang in the middle of town.

The facilities are a little older, but nothing at all compared to how amazing the vibe is here.

After 10 months of solo backpacking this was THE BEST HOSTEL! Maria, the owner is absolutely lovely, the hostel really feels like a home and everyone gets drawn into being super social with everyone chilling out and eating dinner together most evenings. A real amazing family feel! the absolute best if you’re solo travelling and looking to meet like-minded people!

I travelled with 3 other friends and all was smooth and amazing! Maria, the hostel owner, is incredible and made our stay in Ericeira 10x better, with great advice of what to do, where to go, flexibility with the check in and check out and more! 100% recommend!
