The size of the apartment was very big. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. The views are amazing day and night. The staff were very friendly. It was worth the short bus ride from Sintra. I liked the breakfast and service. Very good value for what I paid for it

Our stay at this serene old house near Sintra was nothing short of magical. The peaceful atmosphere combined with the incredible hospitality of our host Susana, made it an unforgettable experience. Since the beginning was amazingly good, the owner Susana with a very warming welcome. Beautiful place and the house well decorated and the room very good. The breakfast wow!!! All the words that i can use are not enough to describe this pearl, go there and feel..... I recommend 100%.

The owner was very nice and very helpful. And honest. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I would say that it is an authentic Portuguese stay, and I was looking for authenticity. Great breakfast!

I have a disability and didn't check about accessible rooms. Luckily, I can still climb stairs, so it worked out. Traveling alone without a car could be a problem; however, I felt completely safe and Uber is easy to use in the area.

The view was outstanding. From the porch , dining room, and pool you could see the Moorish fort and Pena castle. The breakfast was delicious, the staff and owner were professional and friendly. It was nice being in the country as well. It was nice to stay in a B&B again, plus it is an historic house.

Such a beautiful historical house! The salon, swimming pool, breakfast, service, vineyards, view just magical!!! You can literally step in and live in history but feel like home at same time!! Perfect location too if you want to visit Sintra attractions! But my personal favorite is to spend a slow day in this amazing house with enjoy view of Pena palace and castle, a slow time is totally worthy in here!

The only thing I would improve is not to start the garden works during the breakfast. I guess it is not a frequent activity so we were just not that lucky, but the sound of lawn mowers just a few meters away during breakfast was a bit disturbing. I think this could have been planned better.

Santa Maria Casa Nostra is a beautifully located mansion, decorated in an historical manner what makes you feel like you travel in time and end up in an aristocratic getaway 😊. We had a room with a fantastic panoramic view on everything that Sintra has to offer. External bathroom was no issue at all, as it was for an exclusive use for our room only. Everything was super clean. The host was really nice, helpful and caring. Nearby restaurants were within a walking distance from the place. We only spend one night there but I could not resist and took the pleasure of using a pool which I recommend to everyone. Breakfast was served on a terrace, and was really really good. We really wish we stayed longer there, and we will return if ever in the neighborhood.

Venue is absolutely beautiful and the hostess is really helpful. Made you really feel like visiting a family friend. Homemade breakfast was really delicious. Easy to access near restaurants and Sintra city center.

Beautiful property. Very secure parking. Beautiful clean room, comfy bed. The Landlady was very warm and welcoming giving recommendations for a wonderful restaurant. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool and with a beautiful view of Peña Castle was just perfect.

Stunning views and it was very quiet, had the entire pool to ourself for one day. Felt very relaxed and was much needed. Breakfast was lovely and varied, served on the terrace.

Lovely quiet location, fantastic views, lovely house. Very welcoming hosts. Swimming pool although it wasn't the weather to use it during our stay. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Close to a bus stop and walkable distance to Sintra. ( we did it in 45 mins)

The house and garden are both beautiful, well kept and spacious. The entire garden, area around the house is green and together with swimming pool make a great place to relax. The breakfast was super nice and the view from breakfast area is awesome, you can see all the castles. The host was very welcoming and helpful and loved practicing my Portuguese while getting all sorts of advices for visiting Sintra and around. House and room were very clean. Great stay overall

The best stay I had in Portugal. The lady and her husband who ran this hotel are THE BEST people. And I can enjoy the whole view and Pena Palace from my patio. This place is the ideal vacation home, idyllic and picturesque. I wish I could stay longer. I'll definitely come back for next vacation.

We had a room with an "exterior" bathroom, I thought it would be next to our room but it was down the corridor. The bathroom is very large and has a big step up into the shower which could be a problem for people with mobility issues.

Fabulous location with great views over to Sintra. Lovely gardens and pool though it was a bit too cool for sitting outside this week. Friendly staff who gave recommendations for local restaurants. It's an old house full of antique furniture but still has a laid back, relaxed atmosphere. Lovely breakfast!
