no escalateor thus need lift heavy luggage on hand. sometimes you can hear sound like people walking within the building (maybe from other rooms). washing basin is small

The apartment is in a very good location. Lovely historic building with character. A bit squeaky floor, but that didn't bother us much. It was cleaned daily and staff was very respectful and friendly. Loved our stay in Porto.

The walls are paper thin so you can hear other guests walking around or jumping on the bed which is super annoying if you are a light sleeper like me

The room was very spacious with a lot of natural light and also thick curtains if you want to cut it out. It was very clean and the bed was comfy. I loved the ease of check in using lock boxes etc. Completely contactless. Didn't need to talk to any staff to check in or out

No lift, be aware of it if you are staying in upper floors. Very thin walls. If you get noisy neighbor, god help you.

We are seniors that travel together, and our room was on the 4th floor with no elevator. It was a long winding staircase up and that was challenging especially with luggage. If we were younger, it wouldn't have mattered as much. Air conditioning would have been nice.

The apartment was clean and well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The location was perfect for us as we walked most everywhere, and it was close to places we visited.

We had only one sheet on the bed. No blankets. Synthetic mattress cover and 1 sheet to cover what? Had to find cleaning lady and ask for "extra" bedding.

Great apartment in a great location, there is a stop for bus 500 (which runs pretty often and goes to the beach too) right next to the apartment. The location is great - close to a lot of tourist attractions, quite a few good restaurants and other public transport stations (Sao Bento metro station). The apartment was clean & comfy, great for one person or for a couple.

They don’t have a reception, the reception is half hour away from the apartment by transit which is inconvenient in case you want to drop your luggage and roam about the city. We used LUGGIT which is very handy and reliable!

The property is a 5 minute walk from Sao Bento station and in the heart of Porto. It is very clean and convenient with all tourist attractions within walking distance.

The WiFi did not always work properly but it wasn't a big deal. If you arrive before the check-in time you can leave your luggage for free elsewhere, but it is quite the distance from the apartment - but it was also not too much of a problem because of the quick responses and help of the staff via booking.

The location of the apartment is great and it was very clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the great and fresh smell of the apartment. The check-in and check-out was very easy if you fill out the expected forms before you arrive. If you have any questions you can expect quick and helpful answers. Over all it was a great experience!

It was super dark inside, and it was very hot. We couldn’t to get the fresh air even with the open windows. No AC. We could hear the neighbours walking on the second floor. And hear about the huge traffic on the street.

Overall I'm very satisfied with the stay. Wi-Fi took some effort to get working. WC flushing button was hard to pull. These compared for the value were so insignificant.

Loved the detailed instructions from staff. Completely contactless check-in, check-out. Location of the place was excellent. Everything was within a walking distance. Close to all the fun and activities we had planned. It was enough apart from the riverside so we were not disturbed by any loud noises. Street has plenty of cafes and restaurants. The apartment was well equipped (kitchen appliances - more than enough for a weekend getaway. Liked the authentic interior and decorations.

- The wifi does NOT work at ALL - No AC so it was very hot, however there was a heat wave! Perhaps it’s not that hot all year around. If this place had atleast decent wifi I would’ve gave it a 9. Be prepared to use ur data!

- There is no sound isolation at all (when your neighbors talk, walk, or flush in their room, you can hear it as if they are in the same room with you. We couldn't sleep well becaue of it. - Room 4.2 - the lock in the bathroom door didn't work; so it was impossible to close the door properly which is uncomfortable - The showerhead needs to be replaced; showering was a challenge - WiFi didn't work at all; when I contacted the host, they couldn't solve the problem during our stay; be prepared that you'll need mobile data - The street is quite noisy in the night (but you'll experience that in many flats in the touristy areas)

Location is close to the main attractions, the self-check-in with a lock box was pretty easy, and we received all instructions in advance. This is a small apartment which is probably ok for a short stay.

No way to contact staff. All phone numbers and emails were unavailable. Phone numbers provided in apartment were disconnected or unknown, all email address came back as non-deliverable. We were supposed to have Wi-Fi, but it didn’t work. Tv was offline! No way to tell staff about the issue!

First and foremost, claiming three long sets of stairs to get here. They could be removed and replaced with an elevator. The Internet was non-functioning the first 24 hours. After that it was undependable for actually loading websites.

Space is good. Light coming in from two sides. Like the modern efficiency toilet sink combination kitchen it was good.

The wifi didn't work and when I contacted the hosts they offered me another wifi which didn't work either. The kitchen only has a microwave/ small oven and no stove so we couldn't really cook anything.

The location of this apartment is perfect! Even if we had a balcony, there wasn't a lot of noise coming from cars outside. The beds and the sofa are comfortable.

However I was really annoyed by not being provided information needed to Check-in (its a self Check-in system and you require codes to get into the building and get a key). I texted multiple times and always being told I will get the information shortly, only that I did not and we arrived to the front door without any possibility to get in. We had to call the help line, to get us in. So I guess if you don't have an option to call the provider, maybe do not book it. The location and the place is amazing tho! Nice staff too, when we called they were very helpful. I just hoped we would get the info we needed on time.

Shower cubicle needs to be updated, base was not firm. Didn't impact having a shower but it felt like it would break at any moment. Could do with supplying slightly larger towels.

Shower head holder is currently below head height (european style shower). There were several broken tiles in the bathroom that were annoying to step on. I received no responses to messages I sent to this property well before check-in.

Location was excellent. Check-in via lock pad on the the door was extremely convenient, especially since I had a late flight. I stayed in the rooftop apartment (5th floor!!). Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked. This apartment is great for up to 3 travelers (there are 3 twin beds). Kitchen was functional and stocked. Easy check-out.

Unfortunately, because an old building there was squeaky noises from the floor above, as well as nooses from outside otherwise the flat was good
