The only restaurant in town was closed which means, without a car, you had to go into town for food. A little difficult to get back to Evora from the property. Loud pop music was playing nearby which ruined the serenity outside.

Breakfast could be improved a bit. The concept is cute, with it being delivered to your door in a picnic basket. However, we stayed at other hotels where this was done a little better. The breakfast is carb heavy and we ended up not eating the majority of it. Some suggestions: Perhaps a pre-selection of items would help reduce waste and also make it more enjoyable for the consumer. A hot food option or some eggs would be a nice addition as well. At least one dairy free milk option. Investing in a few insulated beverage containers would be nice, as they send coffee pods to use in the machine in the room. This wouldn’t be an issue for everyone, but we have a hard time using those machines as we never know when it was last cleaned and have had negative experiences in the past.

Great concept to build the hotel into a pre-existing village. We loved how peaceful it was. The room had everything we needed, with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and small kitchen which was adequately stocked with necessary items. AC and wifi were strong. Parking is simple and the location is just 20mins from Evora. Worked out great for our one night stay. Staff was very sweet as well.

The wifi is not working well. In the appartment itself it is very slow and the signal is weak. It does not reach beyong the appartment even for a few metres. This is certainly something to make better, as we were not able to reach a normal data and phone signal in this small village.

This is a really lovely place for retreat "in the middle of nowhere". Our appartment was nicely decorated, spatious and well cleaned. The A/C worked well and quickly, we also appreciated the sound system. The staff was amazing, especially as they quickly reacted to our issue (we had to come here instead of spending time at another accomodation where we were supposed to stay) and prepared our appartment quickly within hours. We also appreciated the breakfast, which was brought to our door each morning, had a nice variety of choice, fresh and tasty ingredients. The staff also proactively asked about any food allergies or intolerances and we greatly appreciated this as they provided us lactose-free milk and cheese.

We booked twin beds for our children but ended up with a king size bed.Hiwever the beds were extremely comfortable and everything else made this trip perfect.

We absolutely loved the breakfast, it was delivered in a wonderful basket to our door, it looked amazing and tasted wonderful as well. We love the beds they were so comfortable. The pool was gorgeous and the fruit trees in the courtyard added to the charm

I did not like the internet that is way to slow, and the number of flies that did not allow us to enjoy the space in all its glory. The tv was not working, so please como to be out of the world for a bit.

The fact of being away from it all. This is a small village lost in the middle of Alentejo, with 75 habitants. Someone had the great idea of turning some houses for rent and built a pool and a restaurant and event place. We eat at the restaurant and everything was great

Weak wifi signal. Unfortunately the policy/rules with pets aren't enforced by the property. The last night of our stay, a family had their dog running around off leash for the evening. I love dogs, but don't appreciate them peeing on the greenery right outside my door where we were sitting. The dog also ran into our room when we had our door opened. The owner didn't seem to care, nor did reception when we advised them the following day.

Located in a very quiet, peaceful location in close proximity to Evora. Rooms are quaint and nicely decorated. Breakfast basket was a lovely touch. The pool area has lots of seating. A great hidden gem to relax for a day or two.

The house was very comfortable for us, the breakfast was great. The location is very peaceful, very enjoyable, near the town Evora, and other beautiful locations. We enjoyed it very much. Staff very helpful and kind.

The water in the larger of the 2 rooms that we booked wasn't heated, which we understood from Ana that it might be due to the unfavourable weather of the past few days prior to our arrival (since solar heating was used). That said, Ana helped us check the showers in other rooms that we could use where the water was heated, even though it was quite late at night. Mobile and WIFI reception are not the best, if these are important criteria for your stay.

The location was not too far from Evora (about a 20 min drive), and in a small quiet village. There was quite a huge spread for breakfast, including orange juice, milk, cereal, breads, ham, cheeses, etc, delivered by 2 friendly ladies. We reached past the check-in time, and were glad that Ana could accommodate our request. I suppose it was quite a nice concept for the owners to try to help sustain the town, and we wished we were there longer to really appreciate the place.

I just think they could incorporate a bit more of local products in the breakfast, which was good also.

Just an amazing place on the map of tourism in Portugal. I love the fact, that they work with locals, the owners are really nice. The place is exceptional, I have never been in a similar concept.
