The lady who cleans the room does not do it properly: floors were dirty after cleaning, towels were not always changed. We were staying 6 days and just once the room was cleaned. We asked 2 times as the hotel is ecological, but they forgot and no one came to clean, just after a call to reception. Things were given to laundry for cleaning, but white shirts became yellowish. Juices and coffee the ones that are suggested for breakfast were quite bad: no taste and juices are mixed with water too much.

The hotel is new and the rooms are quite big. Spa is included and breakfast was quite good. Location is perfect, 10 minutes from the waterfront.

We loved our stay! The room was fantastic with a beautiful view, we booked massages and enjoyed the spa facilities and the pool. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we loved the breakfast menu!

Parking is a nightmare in the evening as the car park is always full, so we had to park creatively on the hotel front quite a few times. Some of the front desk staff could be friendlier as well.

This hotel was absolutely lovely and I am not sure one can't find a better view elsewhere in Funchal in such a central location. We really enjoyed our stay there and having the breakfast included is a bonus.

This is a fantastic hotel. Very spacious and well maintained. Obviously the views are amazing but the staff are also lovely and friendly and the food and drink we had was all of a very high standard, fresh and always varied. We only had breakfast included in our stay but we ate some lunches at the pool bar which is fabulous and also ate a buffet dinner one evening. We were quite a large group in 3 studio rooms which were all perfect for our needs. Some used the spa and the reports were good. It was close enough to walk into Funchal. Very much enjoyed.

Wonderful hotel. The service was fantastic - efficient and friendly. We had the deluxe benefits to our room package (room upgrade, extra breakfast menu and discount in the bar plus other benefits) which was definitely worth it. Everywhere very clean and very stylish. Views incredible. Pool and spa were excellent. Cocktail bar was great. Cannot recommend highly enough - would love to return!

Very nice and modern hotel with fantastic views over Funchal and the ocean. At the same time, in perfect walking distance to the Funchal city center. The pool terrace was amazing and enjoying a drink after your swim with a great view on sunset was a must every day.

Booking.com should tell people about the spa, and if you book fewer days, you can't use it. Luckily, we got this included.

Really beautiful and modern hotel with fantastic views. Nice design, excellent Spa, lovely staff and great breakfast. Our rooms were on the ninth floor and we recommend staying on the top two floors! The hotel is within walking distance to the old town. We would definitely book again.

We wanted to have a meal in the evening, but they work with buffet service. We would have liked to order from the menu.

I liked the vibe of the hotel and the decor. Thea breakfast is rich with choise, fresh and tasty and with amazing views. In the evening there is live music in the coctail bar. The room is nice, bed comfortable. They have “pillows menu”, where you can order a pillow of your taste. I haven’t seen that in any other hotel. The spa facilities are very nice. Cost for guest 5 eur/use of spa is reasonable. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

The walk up the hill after an evening wining and dining in Funchal 😂 (Bolt taxis were super easy to set up though, like Uber)

Modern hotel, beautifully and calmly decorated. The staff were all wonderful, couldn’t do enough for you. They helpfully arranged an early 3:45am taxi to the airport in our final day. We enjoyed being pampered here, having spent 5 nights in a self-catered apartment in Porto Moniz with lots of hiking! The facilities were excellent e.g. the spa area, outdoor pool and bar, free parking for hire car. We had a deluxe room so enjoyed the perks that came with this e.g. a la carte breakfast menu made to order, pillow menu, 15% off any drinks in the bars. Speaking of bars, the cocktails available were brilliant and happy hour was always something we tried to take advantage of! We loved the eco room-cleaning incentive too. So, for every day you chose not to have your room cleaned, you would receive €3 off your bill at the end. They still popped in to top up essentials like toilet roll! Had we have had more time, we’d have loved to book in to Desarma, the 1 Michelin-starred restaurant on the top floor; perhaps next time!
