the lifts to the 16th floor are a bit confusing. also it closes too early, staff are tiding up at 5.30, you feel you should leave. also the photographs of the resort on you website do not do the hotel justice.....it is much better in reality, in my opinion.

Poolside restaurant let the whole place down. Good location but staff should be better trained and menu could be better. Asked for one Caesar Salad without anchovies and the other with extra anchovies without tomato and they got both orders wrong.... when we complained about the one that should have been without anchovies, they took it back and removed the anchovies on top and brought it back (still with some anchovies in the middle of the salad). The waiters were simply not polite or engaged enough. Front desk staff could be better - we had a mixed experience.

Loved the location and what they have done with the street behind - curating wonderful shops and restaurants down there. Great façade and architectural features. Good rooftop bar and special VIP space. The porters who meet you at the entrance are FABULOUS!

staff shortage in the Alameda on one day

loved the attention to detail. The staff , were so pleasant, The breakfast is really good. All the food was amazing and the BBQ in the Terroir was just fantastic. I would highly encourage you to do any event they are putting on in the restaurants in the hotel, superbly run!! Happy Hour too, just wow! My favourite hotel have been back loads of times.

We were sad to not be allocated a room with a bath - understand it was subject to availability. We also mentioned it was my birthday and a special stay for my mum in hope for anything to be done. Nothing sadly was recognised during our stay apart from Joao whom gave me a glass of the complimentary sparkling they serve with breakfast. For a hotel of this stature i would like to think a little note or anything to wish us a happy trip/ birthday wouldn't had gone a miss. Otherwise can not knock the hotel on this as it truly was beautiful and i would come again!

Loved the trip with my mum to enjoy this hotel. Sadly did not have enough time to enjoy it to its full potential! The breakfast staff were great - Joao was a dream. The only person to acknowledge that it was my birthday by bringing a glass of sparking on the day before (as i was checking out that day) Which was a lovely personalised touch. Thank you for being so kind and attentive our entire stay. Cleanliness and fresh fruit in the room was a bonus. As well as the turn down service. We really enjoyed that attention to detail.

Rooms were clean,spacious and the beds were super comfortable, room service twice a day with turn down in the evening was a lovely touch. The breakfast was top notch so fresh and every possible choice available, the morning staff were attentive, friendly and professional at all times the we felt very spoilt, beautiful pool we swam every morning, restaurants were spot on Pau de lume and sky bar were stand out. We used the facilities at The Royal Savoy too and spent one of our days by the poolside there, great service and lovely dip in the sea. Overall it was a perfect stay attention to detail, were the smallest detail is important love it

Really nothing except quicker delivery of tea at breakfast.

Staff were without exception helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with much choice (just a bit slow delivering tea most days). I worried it might be a bit pretentious, but that just was not the case. Will return.
