The bathroom floor was always wet even after the morning cleanings, and there was just one shower at the girls bathroom, because one of the shower's door didn't close. I slept on an upper bed and there was no electricity plugs next to my bed.

The stuff was really nice, they helped with everything I needed. Breakfast was fair, and the rooms were clean and big.

Although it is a bit far from the city center, it still is a great location with many points of interest around. For price, it is a great place to spend the night, and the garden is a plus

The toilets could have a bit more privacy, but in fact I haven't find bathrooms with more privacy in any other hostel in Portugal yet. A toilet in the common area could be useful. I personally would have preferred to have the garden and kitchen open before 8.30 for an early morning coffee, cigarette or even sport in the garden. But that's complaining on a high level 😉 BC of the stairs the hostel is not suitable for ppl with handicaps or a weak lung. The location is slightly far away, but every step is good for our health isn't it.

The Staff is extremely nice, attentive and organized. The house is really beautiful, modernised old house with modern interior but also a lot of stairs, wooden squeaky floors, old foldable "doors" and beautiful ornaments on the ceiling. The hostel is super clean, spacious and has a nice garden. Its about 20min walk to the city center, supermarket with a good choice of food and drinks is just a few meters away and the metro is only 5min by foot away. Due to Corona the breakfast isn't a buffet atm, but the hostel organises individual breakfast with a scheduled time for everyone. The rooms are pretty big and clean, spacious lockers including keys are available and towels are included. In my 8 bed only female room were 3showers, 2toilets and 3sinks available. There's a common area with the kitchen, tables, sofa and TV and direct connection to the garden. Apparently the common area and the garden has to close at 10pm, but that also guarantees a quiet good night sleep. Everyone i met was very respectful and nice to each other. No bad experience during my 3nights stay. Very good value for money and it feels very safe, for whom it is important to know.

It would have been nice to have the girls bathroom on the same floor as my room. That was slightly annoying.

I liked how they prepared breakfast and followed COVID precautions. Made me feel more secure about their hostel. Things were clear, there was a nice kitchen to cook stuff, and it was a nice stay.

Due to the street a bit loud at night when the balcony doors are opened Breakfast is nice and I understand that this year buffet is not possible and that they have the regulation that only 4 people can eat simultaneously on the terrace or inside. However, when I arrived, she propesed me 8:30 or 9:30 to eat and I suppose if you come later, only one time slot is available which might not be convenient for you. On my last day I had to leave before my scheduled breakfast so I would have wished to get an earlier slot. I thought due to covid nobody would stay in the upper bed of my bunk bed (as it was the case in all other hostels I've stayed), but the last night at around 3am somebody came to sleep there and woke me up

The host Susana is very friendly Also, she makes very nice breakfast with nice fresh bread ans some other things which you can choose on a list on the first day. Plenty coffee, good cereals (not the sugar bombs!), all very loveley prepared for each person. Nice garden area for chilling Kitchen facilities, even though I didn't use them Big dorm room, lots of space, big lockers and beautiful old building If coming again to Porto, I would stay here again. Very good quality for the price.

I think some additions should be considered, such as a hairdryer in every bathroom. There is not much privacy due to the glass doors, but it is not a huge problem. The hostel is not in the centre, but rather close, it is well connected to the main sightseeing spots anyway!

The staff was kind, helpful and overall great. My stay was pleasant and everything was working well. I enjoyed the place, the common area is nice and well equipped. Highly suggested for your stay!

no place where you can stay and talk after 23:00, the kitchen is closed, the garden is closed and the only place where you have some couch and chairs ( the reception) is closed you either go out or go to bed. the breakfast is ok but i think is better to just go to a padaria or a cafe
