Was a little tricky to find, but once we made it there, well-worth it! It's a quiet, peaceful place that really feels like a mountain retreat. Rooms were large and cozy, and ours had an amazing view through a large, single-paned window. Sergio was an incredible host and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. He's a gem!

I really liked the hotel. It's in a very nice town and the architecture of the place was very nice. So much fresh air, and a nice view from the window. I really liked my experience in the hotel. The owner was very helpful and a good person. I certainly will visit once again.

Location is great, inside everything is very clean and organised. We got everything we needed and as a bonus point, some nice tips on what to do in the area. I really recommend staying there and when I am around will come back!

Sergio’s house is beautiful! everything was perfect…….the rooms are spacious and very comfortable……and Sergio is a fantastic host…..nothing was too much trouble I wish I could have stayed longer…….hopefully I’ll be back 😊

We loved everything about this place from the moment we arrived to receive the warmth and kindness of Sergio as he welcomed us to his wonderful house . So much thought and care has gone into the design to create the most glorious place to spend some time in this part of Serra da Estrella. Our room had a massive , deeply comfortable bed and a huge window with an electric blind that opens to reveal a stunning Travacinha view of sky, mountains village. Everything here is high quality and stylish and everything works-fabulous shower! Theres a cute bar to enjoy a drink and breakfast was too was lovely.

it is still cold overnight around Seia, so nighttime sleeping was somewhat difficult. perhaps a space heater in the room would be helpful since the central heating was shut down.

the refurbished house and grounds are stunning. the owner was readily available for needs and questions and stories about the area.

Every little detail was considered and to a very high standard. The room was beautifully decorated and the shower was powerful and hot. Breakfast was lovely with local produce and warm rolls. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made so welcome.

I suggest to put on some hangers in the bathroom, for used towels, especially near the sink, for a hand-drying towel. The ventilation made a weird noise in the bathroom, and wish you also had hair conditioner.

Host gave us a literal warm welcome after many rainy and cold xmas days. Decoration was eclectic, cute and felt like home. Real roses in the common area, lovely paintings on the walls, a nice mix of wood/stone walls, many windows, etc. Enjoyed the time sitting by the fireplace, only thing missing would be a dog (the house pet is a border collie but we did not have time to meet sadly). Didn't experience any cleaning service, but the "granite" room looked great uppon arrival (the key holder was cute too). It is a nice touch how neatly folded terry was with a cardboard seal, and disposable slippers are much apreciated. Tasty chocolates and bottle of water on the vanity desk. Loved the vanity mirror next to the sink in the bathroom. Liked that the toiletries were big bottles. Dinner recommendation couldnt have been better, over at Cristina, and the breakfast was excellent with many good Jam/jelly options and the orange juice was great too!

The owner and staff really couldn't be more welcoming. It is one of those places where 5 minutes after your arrival you feel completely at home. There are several little corners where you can just relax and enjoy the environment. Breakfast was varied and with great ingredients.
