Loved everything about this property. It was absolutely stunning, so tranquil and relaxing. A very unique stay with gorgeous rooms, incredible views and friendly staff. We were delighted to realise the property was within walking distance to Sintra. It was the perfect location. I couldn’t recommend more highly enough. We met the owner and his wife who were very friendly.

The room felt a little too cluttered with decor

The grounds were absolutely beautiful. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing and set up outside our room on a beautiful patio.

I am pregnant and found it is a bit hard to get around, restaurants are far. Bolt cars are super cheap but sometimes we had to wait longer to find a ride to return to the hotel. But would definitely return when I’m not pregnant. ❤️

It is pretty far from food, and they only offer breakfast. I had to either go 30 minutes into town or order in. It was a little inconvenient to eat.

The estate is a gorgeous gem which is tucked in the mountains and has views of the surrounding palaces. We were absolutely awestruck by the facilities, attention to detail, sprawling grounds, and the kind and helpful staff. I cannot rave enough about this palace. The owner of three estate gave us two amazing food recommendations for dinner that we would have never discovered on our own. Both locations were untouched by tourists and with the best seafood we’ve had and the most gorgeous views. We were served a sprawling breakfast in our room, we stayed in the Palácio, and had breakfast overlooking the hills, palaces, and the ocean. Lastly, when we left, I accidentally dropped and lost my wallet outside the gate. The owners went out of their way to contact me and let me know they could ship it to be abroad since we had already flown out of Portugal. Truly the kindest and most beautiful experience we’ve had staying anywhere in the world. We will definitely be coming back in the future!! Thank you so much!!

Room was a little tight for space but very historic and lovely, in keeping with its time period. Not really something to complain about. As with all older Portuguese buildings it was a little cool in February but there was some heating and the bed was cozy.

Beautiful and peaceful location with so much history, you feel like you have stepped back in time. Room was charming with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful with delicious fresh produce. Staff were very sweet and there was good communication. Property must be absolutely gorgeous in summertime. Views and gardens are spectacular even on windy, cold February days.

Breakfast was okay. They asked us what time we wanted to eat and picked us up to show us the way a bit later. When we arrived we found a very elegant breakfast area set up. Not all the dishes were ready just yet. A wider variety would have been nice and the pastries could have been more fresh, but what it lacked in this respect it really made up for in atmosphere and decor. We were practically alone eating breakfast in a palace dining room - we felt like royalty.

The premises are stunning. The room was super quiet and elegant. Wonderful shower/bath. Staff was gracious and whatever we requested we got quickly. There weren't many guests so we felt like we had the place to ourselves which was very romantic and suited us perfectly. The views are incredible and we enjoyed our stay even though the weather wasn't so great.

Quinta da Bella Vista was wonderful. It was absolutely the most delightful stay we have ever had. The hosts are so friendly and respectful we felt like treasured guests The location in the rainforest is magical it is only 10 minutes to town centre and the castle but Quinta da Bella Vista becomes a home you hate to leave Thank you for a most incredible stay

Our suite had an adjacent room and the insulation was not good. We could hear the guests in the next room perfectly.

Quinta da Bella Vista is absolutely stunning. It's a very special place right in the middle of Serra de Sintra. We loved our room (Shambala Suite) that combines a fireplace, with an overwhelming view and an amazing bathroom. Also, the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Dinesh (thank you!).

Amazingly beautiful property. Staff is superb. Perhaps one of the nicest most relaxing places we have ever stayed. We booked one night and ended up extending because it was so wonderful. It is quiet and peaceful.

Our only issue was finding the main gate and contacting Jyoti, but that was more an issue of the road and our cell service not being activated like it should have been.

Jyoti and crew were fantastic! Everyone went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. Breakfast and the wine were wonderful.
