You definitely need a car to access this hostel and to visit the attractions. It's not close to the city center of Braga. Paying is only possible in cash.

We had a great stay of two nights at Sweet Home Braga. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is very spacious and clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. We cooked our own meals during our stay. Early check-out is no problem.

We couldn't open the door to the balcony in our room because of the rain, and there was no other window, so it got a little bit stuffy.

Nice shared accommodation just out of the main centre! Had a great shared living area, which we used a lot as it was raining, and good kitchen. The bed was comfy, shared shower and toilet facilities clean. The host met us and showed us the place, he was very helpful. There were other guests staying but we hardly saw them, had an overall quiet and comfy stay.

The bed was very comfy, the owner has two cats, they are the sweetest little felines i've met. Very pretty area with a portuguese-like restaurant just 20 meters away from the guesthouse. The staff was very nice and they have very good infrastructures, excelent taste in design and a gorgeous garden. The night is also very quiet, very good soundproof walls. Next time i visit Braga i will for sure book here again. Thank you for the hospitality.

not enough toilet paper and the shower hot water took awhile to heat up and i could hear the neighbour in the next room talk on the phone early in the morning. ear plugs are needed. no bus on sundays, 30 minutes walk to the supermarket

It's far from the city center, def need a vehicle to move around the area.

It's a really nice house, beautifully decorated. The owner was quite friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable, sharing the batroom with the room next door. The garden was lovely and it does have a cute pool. The best for me were the two adorable cats with which I made great friends with :D

We have no complaints whatsoever about the guest house. It's just quite a ways from town. There are buses, of course, but we chose to walk into the countryside instead of dealing with getting into town.

There is a lovely kitchen with everything you need to cook for yourself. The wifi worked perfectly for me.

the owner was too insistent on payment as he only accepted cash. It would be easier for a tourist to pay by card or specify at the time of booking that it is only possible to pay cash. He doesn't even issue a receipt, by the way. So all in black. Also there was no hairdryer in the bathroom which should always be present. The owner has provided, but after having asked three times. All very modern except for the really uncomfortable mattress, as it is too soft. Furthermore, the windows were never opened in the house, turning on the fan in the kitchen and closing the kitchen door when the other guests were cooking was not enough. The stench was great. If you tried to open the window in the kitchen the curtain would fall, because obviously the window was never supposed to open! With a little more attention, this place would really be top.

Only the bed in our room was a bit small for the two of us

The accommodation was very clean and spacious, we liked the pool in the garden with mandarin trees. Host was very friendly. Good location just outside Braga, with view on the hills.
