How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

... ventilation into our room was an incessant noise and breeze even with the AC/heating off. Disturbed sleep which is never good. Also, very cool design but bathroom sounds carry directly into bedroom, so not much privacy.

The breakfast buffet is a little confusing with the bread on the other side of the entrance. Several guests (including my wife) thought that there is no bread. The buffet is small, but it's enough to start the day well fed.
The rooms are very stylish with a well thought concept. They are quiet; you don't hear any neighbours. The room bar is included in the price. The staff is very friendly and delivers important information for the trip. The atmosphere is really very familiarly. The hotel itself is about 100 meters from the next Metrostation.

Would have liked having more Milk or creamer for coffee and tea. Maybe also 2 teacups and 2 expresso cups rather than the one each.
Room was clean and had lovely view. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Spacious bathroom was great. Appreciated the water in fridge. Loved that there was enough hanging and packing space.

Considering the hotel theme , was expecting a bigger bathroom with potentially a bathtub
Staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast also was good and quite varied. Rooms as well was being cleaned every day. The rooms and the bathroom has a pleasant blue aesthetic that gives a sense of clean and calm.

A perfect hotel, very near the underground also a walk to many areas. Restaurants and bars in walking distance. Very quirky hotel. Also the sister hotel opposite where we had drinks was lovely Breakfast was good 👍 Staff were very helpful and friendly

Privacy, bathrooms need to be separate, feels like you’re very on top of each other when with someone else, ideal if you’re with your partner which fortunately I was but would be very awkward with the shower and bathroom being see through if with a friend or new relationship

Standing on the main road in to Lisbon and a ten minute walk to the main square this hotel was perfect. Road noise was minimal due to excellent sound proofing. The air conditioning worked quietly but the highlight was the room itself. A king size comfortable bed, a big bath, perfect after a days walking, a walk in shower as well. For us a private balcony looking down towards the sea. To top it off a pod coffee machine, bottled fresh water refilled daily and a fridge to keep water cool.

Verry Nice staff and helpful even the young lady at the desk helped move our baggage to the car. I arrived late at night to the hotel and was surprised that in the morning and afternoon the lobby area and a connected coffee place become so vibrant, they have a rooftop as well but didn't visit, the rooms might not appeal to me much, but they are comfortable. Two minutes' walk from the hotel on the same avenue you have the famous sea food restaurant in Lisbon RAMIRO and another 5 minutes' walk you are easily in the center all on the same avenue.

Some of our group didn’t like the small rooms with the double bed against a wall. No chair in some rooms.
