The hotel has only been open a few months so there are still a few tiny teething problems around service at breakfast but that is literally the only thing I can comment on

The hotel design itself is simply incredible. The bar in particular is breath-taking and the negronis delicious. The food is also fantastic and good value for money. The rooms are just divine with the softest bedding and proper black out blinds. We were in the city centre but didn't hear a thing. The staff could not have worked harder to make sure that your time in the hotel is not just a "stay" but an "experience"

The Hotel is exceptional. There is so much to rave about from the wonderful attentive staff to the design and attention to detail and the management of this Hotel. It's walking into an experience and soaking up the atmosphere which sets this Hotel apart from any other hotel I've stayed at. The bar is amazing - such a buzz!!

Everything was exceptional, best hotel in Lisbon! The decor is flawless, everything planned to the detail, the staff was very helpful and the room extremely comfortable and inviting. Breakfast at Rocco is delicious and the location couldn't be better, right in the historic centre of Lisbon. Will 100% come back!

The Ivens Hotel was a true discovery starting from the great location right in the heart of Chiado. My husband and I were thrilled with the experience. The staff is extremely kind and professional. The decoration and atmosphere of the hotel is simply unique, from the lobby, the corridors and all the way to our spacious room. It seems that every single detail was thought-through very carefully. The scent through the hotel also made a big difference and the food at Rocco!!!??? Just amazing! The best Italian we have tried in ages. And of course we can't forget the drinks at the bar, amazing energy! Wow wow wow!!!

I hated leaving!

I have stayed in many great hotels but this is definitely one of my favourites! With all the comfort and luxury of an international hotel, it has its own unique character and charm and is the ideal place to set off and explore Lisbon. The location is unbeatable right in the centre of old Lisbon with wonderful restaurants, sights and shops right outside the door. The rooms are beautifully decorated and make you feel at home as do the staff who are very attentive. Breakfast is a feast and I loved the homemade tomato jam! If I had to sum up my experience it would be that every detail in this hotel – interior design, food, staff and even its wonderful perfume – create an ambiance of beauty, elegance and timelessness that is simply wonderful!

We had a wonderland experience staying at the Ivens, a design-driven luxury hotel located in the heart of Lisbon. From the moment we arrived and stepped into this creative meets sofisticated hotel, the staff made us feel very special, from the service provided by the concierge to reception. The decoration was truly Unique with its Explorer's theme and atention to details that extented beyond the rooms to the common spaces and restaurant. Breakfast was very good and served à lá carte. We will come back as soom as possible!

Perhaps a luxury hotel deserves a broader scope of equipment and facilities. At the moment it is limited to a below ground eating area. Very nicely designed but an exterior venue would be the least customers would expect.

Hotel location is great. Just a bit off the busy main street of Chiado.

The fact they messed up my booking on the 2nd leg, I had my luggage saved there and I said I will be back next week and they checked and said yes. However, it seemed that the booking was for the following month and so when I returned they made me pay a non standard room rate for a standard room....... The manager then told me I was lucky to get an upgrade initially ... umm ... hello please check, I paid for a garden view etc ...... Will not be returning to this hotel and will not recommend either.....

Breakfast was average, I was there twice in a month and the breakfast was the same every single day, kind of boring to be honest and not that much to choose from.
