The music was too loud round the pool. The sun beds need upgrading.

Really felt 5*. I absolutely loved the interior design. And the design is throughout the whole hotel. The attention to detail is incredible. The cleanliness was incredible. The breakfast staff could not do enough. Anna and Daniella were particularly attentive.

Prices for rooms are pretty steep.

Staff were wonderfully attentive . I had a very early flight out of Porto and the front desk staff helped to print boarding passes, arrange for a taxi, and even sent me off with a breakfast box of food. The welcome drink was also a nice touch. Breakfast buffet was also excellent in the quality and selection of food.

Rooms facing the road were a bit noisy from cars.

The location was good close to the river. The staff was friendly and the room was clean throughout. All the amenities were L'Occitane and were good.

Excellent ambience, excellent service (actually at another level to 5 star with nice touches not provided by the vast majority of leading hotels) and excellent location for the river and port house restaurants and wine bars

Everything. It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were exceptional, attentive, friendly & professional. The pool is lovely with nice views to the bridge.

Nothing which is the hotels fault except on every Sunday the authorities tolerate a gathering of many hundreds of motor bikes on the quay on a largely pedestrian area which are extremely noisy and add nothing to the enchantment of the place nor one would think to the tourist economy.

We received a call from reception at 10:00pm, asking if everything was ok. We had just gone to bed after a long day of excursions.

The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed looking across at Ribeira.

It was all perfect.

Perfect location - very easy to get to all the main attractions including the Port houses. Outstanding staff working in this hotel from front of house to bar staff, housekeeping and restaurant - both for breakfast and dinner. The breakfasts were excellent and the restaurant and bar are very good too. Fabulous room and lovely heated swimming pool.

Only positives.

The hotel has everything you can possibly need. Close to all main port wine houses and with very easy access to the main centre of Porto. Very confortable room and L'Occitane toiletries. Also, having an outdoor swimming pool (heated) is amazing, perfect to relax between morning and evening turistic activities. The restaurant and bar are fantastic, I loved the port wine cocktails. I strongly recommend this hotel. The hotel was very accommodating for our 2 year old daughter, they provided cot and a very cute kids toiletries bag. There is parking at the hotel and its activeted with "via verde" which makes everything super easy.

Bedrooms are lovely , very quiet, great linen , comfortable beds, Lovely design throughout hotel . Fabulous breakfast - great views and design of restaurant. Staff are lovely everywhere in hotel . The hotel and bedrooms also smell lovely . Would highly recommended and will stay again if we come back to Porto.

This hotel was beautiful! The staff was super nice and helpful. Someone was always there to help and say hello. This hotel exceeded my expectations. When we checked in we received a welcome drink and they helped with our luggage and parking our car. Everyone was beyond helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.
