Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomAlmost openly hostile reception desk, super-focussed on what we had to pay extra for, all very strange. Equally, being asked to prepay the entire stay, never come across that at a 5* hotel. Worst of all, payment was required to use the indoor swimming pool (this was not written anywhere on Booking.com), and was only for >16yr olds, this was not written anywhere either. They seemed to be completely indifferent to my 8-10yr old kids having to swim outside in the half-freezing pool, if at all. And yet, it was clear many people broke the "no people under 16 at the indoor swimming pool rule". All very shoddy

PortugalService, very arrogant staff, half an hour after checkin I would gladly move to another hotel. Pool - Paying 25€/person/day to use internal pool was a negative surprise, especially if we're talking about a 5* hotel. Actually it was the first time I was asked this kind of value in a 5* Hotel. Suggest to include that info when booking Some of the public areas need small renovations
Room was great and comfortable 5* level, balcony is a Plus. View was also very nice. Breakfast is a Plus, especially to have the possibility to have eggs cooked at the moment

United KingdomThe reception team watched us walk in from the car park with 5 bags and then didn't bother to look up when we arrived. We were also advised the restaurant was closed and the golf club couldn't take us so first impressions were poor. In fact I considered leaving. We decided to have room service on our balcony and things looked up from that point.
We stayed in mid November which is probably not the best time to experience the resort. Our corner suit was superb and had great views. Friendly staff. Very good golf course.

PolandYou have to pay additional fee for swimming pool (seawater not freshwater ) Turkish bath smells terrible of plastic. The quality of pool and sauna and turkishbath very poor. Also the construction pending next to hotel is not nice cause all the day you hear noice !

United Kingdom1 not much food choice if you are a vegetarian, like literally cheese and French Fries (basically they are hot crisps) 2 hotel was vertically empty and whilst a lack of guests was expected given travel restrictions, we felt that this had almost made the staff lazy. There was a golden opportunity to go the extra mile to ensure repeat custom from the few guests they had for example, room upgrades (there were plenty of spare top end rooms), a free drink from the bar, I mean I could go on, but given lack of guests/atmosphere we felt that the few guests they had could have been made to feel a little bit special. We thought if the film ‘Passengers’ it felt like that at times, only guests at dinner, only guests using the bar. 3 it’s not really a 5 star, no help with our bags on arrival - fine no tip then! 4 cranes in every direction - there is a lot of building going on around the property 5 - Clubhouse staff not exactly ‘on it’ we waited 15 minutes to put our order in for lunch after asking for menus 6 - there is no division to the hotel main areas, it’s like one huge modern cowshed 7 - bathroom in the room is far from private… glass doors, see-through from waist upwards 😂 Accepting these are difficult times…. Overall value for money? - not good What did the hotel do to try and get us to come again? - nothing Would we go again? - no

United StatesVery poor interior decor, just one outdoor pool, no kids pool, poor breakfast and AC makes lots of noise making the beautiful balcony very unpleasant. On top of the it terrible noise from constructions around from 8 - 6 pm.

PortugalThe staff wasn’t very responsive to a problem with the electricity in the room. No solution was offered even though this is a 5 star hotel. We had to wait until they decided to come back and fix the door box after several trips to the reception. The terrace was not clean. The pool is much smaller than on the pictures. The person in charge of the availability of the deckchairs, gave us a place already occupied, it was very embarrassing but not for him. For a hotel of this standard, the staff and facilities were not up to scratch.
The view and the restaurant are amazing!

PortugalAs we are on a pandemic crises the hotel did nothing to provide guests a safe stay. Their were guest inside the facilities without a mask - mandatory - staff didn’t provide cleaning of common usage facilities (such as tables, payment machine, front desk etc) Restaurants only serve indoors (except for the pool service), the room service is poor, and the worse it’s the breakfast buffet. No conditions! Sadly because this is a great hotel but this was my observation and even left earlier than Scheduled..
It’s the 4th time I was at this hotel. Facilities are amazing and staff friendly.
