The only negative I can really think of are the towels. They weren't the greatest, but in the grand scheme of things it really didn't matter.

Such a cute and charming place. The building is older and that shows, but if you love history and architecture than it's lovely. They have worked hard on updating and it shows. Is it a luxury resort? No, but it is a quaint and lovely place to stay. The staff is so much fun and the breakfast is simple but very good. The location is absolutely wonderful. Not directly in the tourist area so fairly quite, but so close and the walk is easy.

The location of the hotel was great, walked pretty much everywhere! The room itself was cozy and clean.

I think the biggest disadvantage of our room (i did not see other room therefore i cannot generalize) was the cleanliness. The room looked much better on the photos, but in real there was stains on the carpet and mold on the windows, in the shower and toilet

Very friendly and helpful stuff! My children really liked especially one man. Nice breakfast however every time was the same.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the building and because we were there in the early spring it was very windy, and the noise coming in at the side window disturbed our sleep. Which wasn’t good 🙁 It sounded like a freight train whistling through. Then also when the wind was bad at the terrace doors they just rattled all night !! So another disturbed night which took until the early hours before could sleep ie after 3am ! Reception did try to see if they could fix the whistling window but not successful due to nature of the building . Also surprised no heated towel rail or radiator in the bathroom. This meant had to have towels changed daily as we couldn’t have dried them to reuse like we would normally do to do our bit for saving the planet.

Loved that it was an old mansion and still had a lot of the features. It was clean and comfortable and all the staff were exceptional. The location was easy to find and easy to get to all the sights in Porto. Would definitely stay here again.

Too much noises when people arrive over the night. The acoustic level in the room not so good.

What a beautiful little hotel with helpful staff and updated rooms. By far the most comfortable bed I have slept in on my journeys! The bathroom was surprisingly large and the room was very quiet with a view towards the ocean. Walking distance to tourist attractions and a few small markets and cafes nearby with a pretty park across the street.

The breakfast could have had more variety. Some boiled eggs or scrambled eggs would’ve been great. Also a fruit salad.

Beautiful property in a great location. It felt like I was immersing myself into historical Porto. Walking distance to many great landmarks and restaurants. Very professional staff. The parking was also very convenient. Good value.

There’s nothing we didn’t like, the only downside was in our room there wasn’t a wardrobe or draws, there was a metal frame with a long mirror which you could hang your clothes from. It’s a minor point really, the bed was very comfortable and the room was bright and clean.

The breakfast was extremely good, nothing cooked but plenty of anything else you’d require from cereals to pastries. Excellent coffee/tea facilities.

Our bathroom was like an ice block and didn't have a fan so our choice was icy ice block with no condensation or dripping wet ice block. (We were here during a chilly winter) My kids said the sofa bed wasn't super comfortable for them.

The staff in this little boutique hotel couldn't be more incredible. Soooo friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, there are little pastries available all day long. Beds are extremely comfortable and the shower is perfect.

The hotel has maintained much of the original design of the historic building while adding the necessary mod cons. The bathrooms are excellent adaptations and the rooms on the 3 & 4th floors have unique features. The staff were very professional and friendly and there are many little touches (e.g. complamentary pastries and fruit near reception) that makes a guest feel very much at home
