We had a private room with shared bath. I didn’t realize the shared bath would be with a dorm style room. It wasn’t a problem but I’m not sure I would have stayed here had I known. The breakfast was small enough that it should be included in price of private room.

We expected to be in Estrella but it was actually in Fao. But no harm was done.

We had an one night stop on our Camino. It was a good place to stay, including a swimming pool. The kitchen is well equipped with what you need in order to prepare food.

Nothing, it was the perfect stay for day two of my Camino!

The property was tidy, well sized and perfect for pilgrims. There was a lounge to socialise, plenty of space outdoors, a pool and the rooms had everything you’d need. The bed was comfortable with an easy to reach plug socket. The host, Sandra, was amazing and so so welcoming. After a few days of rain she was kind enough to tumble dry all our socks and clothes for us! The dog, Spot, is well deserving of his fame and was a sweetheart.

Sandra and her dog Spot are the greatest hosts! Sandra makes the place feel like home. It is one of the places I stayed I was most comfortable. Clean facilities. Delicious breakfast. Bedside chargers. And a cute puppy

The host Sandra was so welcoming! She has created a space where pilgrims can gather and meet! Started creating a camino family here! There is facilities to do hand laundry and a small pool with seating area if the weather is nice!

Run by an amazingly sweet family. It has everything for a pilgrim. Washing machine, relax place, garden, free coffee/ thee. And very good restaurant nearby ( Rita’s) Very happy!

It’s a gem in a peaceful town Fão. Room itself is as typical dormitory in any guest house. (In general and positive meaning) But the other facilities are amazing. Kitchen is very well equipped with enough basic ingredients (usually from pilgrims’ leftovers, like pasta or oils) Laundry is available either with the machine or handwash. Clothesline is under the sun, if you do it fast, your laundry will be dry faster. Garden with pool is really impressive, I could give a cooldown for my feet, which has serious pain in both sides. Very friendly and supportive host and her doggy ‘Spot’ will welcome you whem you check-in. Don’t miss a chance to stay here :)

It was all great.

Loved the beautiful swimming pool. So good to cool the tired legs after walking the Camino. The Room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. You could use the kitchen too. For 3€ you could wash your clothes.

Wow! A not to be missed experience after a long days hike. The pool & garden are certainly a plus for this type of accommodation by far the best sleep. Sandra the host/ owner was most welcoming. Accommodation has been sensitively renovated for the purpose of meeting pilgrims needs. Sandra gave us great recommendations for restaurants nearby went to a local tapas bar had superb meal for 4 ppl under €55 drinks included. Simply sensational & memorable evening. Loved Spot the dog too!
