We tried the roof bar in the evening but sadly despite the lovely view nobody up there so not much of an atmosphere. Perhaps they need to advertise it to non-residents?

Location was perfect , a few minutes from all the sights and very convenient for getting to and from the airport. We loved the roof top restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast was very good - not an enormous buffet but had all the essentials and some lovely mini pastel de natas.

The hotel lobby and the bathroom looks like they were fairly recently updated, the room and hallways do not. To me, they have an early 90's style and the wear of furniture etc. seems to bear that out. Also, the bed is quite close to the room door, which is not sound proofed in any way.

Excellent, unbeatable location about 10 min walk from the Douro river! This is the single best quality of this hotel, with Metro, coffee shops and attractions just minutes away on foot.

Bedroom a little tired and in need of new carpet. Brusque instructions regarding not washing clothes in the room with a fine if ignored. No grab rail in bath/shower.

Everything was great

It was an amazing location just in the middle of the old city centre. Walkable to all the city highlights.We payed an extra 23 eur p/24 hours in a nearby parkinggarage with special reservated parking for hotel guests. That went smootly and well organized. The room is great and good beds with a big bathroom. All well equipped and absolute value for the money. Very clean and I defenitely recommand this hotel and would come back another time here !

My room was on the second floor, but felt like it was in the basement. Windows were positioned high on the walls and were frosted so you couldn’t look out. I assume this was because they faced a wall or something like that but it gave the room an overall gloomy feel.

The toilet in the room we were in needs attention. It seemed to be loose and the toilet tank hit the wall behind it with each use.

I had to leave early to the airport and the waitress refused to let me in the breakfast room to grab a croissant to go because I was 2’ (literally) before the opening time.

The Hotel is perfectlly located, literally on the main square. You don't need any transport to visit sights of the old part of the city. Tha place is quite, and the staff very friendly..

There is no soundproofing and you can hear neighbours very well, so it's a good idea to bring ear plugs. The lighting in the bathroom is not bright.

I thought that there should have been more condiments in the. There was 2 small bottles of port crisps and chocolate on the table as there was no price list we thought this was complementary but we were charged. Only shampoo and soap.

The hotel is in a perfect location, 10-20 min walking distance to all the main attractions. 5mins walk from Trinidade station which has direct metro to the airport. The rooms are big, clean and most facilities including a mini bar. The bathroom was clean with a good rain shower. The staff our courteous and helpful. There is a lovely roof top bar as well.
