I would have liked to have been able to have or make a cup of tea. I had been on a tour all day and arrived back at hotel & asked if I could have one somehow. I had to wait until 8.00 when the bar opened. This is not a complaint as I was really happy with the hotel. It just would have been nice.

Dislike: having to crawl under the bed to find a plug to charge phone / rooms not sound proof, could hear others -

Liked: excellent location !! - Great staff, helpful - Change of towels. in general, room good to just sleep in and enjoy Porto. A bit old looking, carpet very old, but bathroom clean

A bit noisy coming from the passing cars and the people still on the road late at night Room for two persons but only one electrical outlet to be used to charge phone or lap top

The Location is very good, not too close to where the center is but quick to reach by foot. Friendly staff, very attentive, clean room.

The doors into the corridor could/should be thicker and more soundproof. I could hear indistinct chatter from a room two doors down into the early hours, and the hairdryer of the person in the room opposite at 6am! One of the booking.com attributes is "soundproofing", but I found this not to be the case and was a little disappointed by that,

The bed was exceedingly hard.

The location of the property is good, close to everything but a bit removed from the hubbub. The front desk staff were excellent, especially Phillipa. The bed was extremely hard, however the AC worked well and the shower was decent. The breakfast lacked variety day to day but the breakfast room staff were excellent.

Hotel facilities are very limited, and breakfast was uninteresting and repeatative. Less choice as food ran out. Never warm and toaster not fit for purpose.

Front of house , reception staff when excellent. Always open clean foyer. Good location for city travel,bars, and restaurants.

This is a relatively basic, slightly dated hotel. There was one chair for three people. The second room had hardly any space around the beds. There were no plugs for the chargers and you could hear noise every time someone in another room was having a shower.

There is 24 hour Reception and messages through booking.com were answered very promptly. All the staff were very helpful,.the location of the hotel was perfect and the place was clean. There is a separate locked room for luggage storage. We were very happy with our stay as we were only in the rooms to sleep.

I suppose the room we had could be updated. The hotel is in the middle of the city surrounded by tall buildings, it does have windows but the natural light is obviously restricted due to that, better lighting would be good and also a full length mirror would be a great addition to the room. All of that being said for the price we paid we were really happy, it is a 2 Star hotel after all.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good and regularly re stocked. We had cocktails in the evening on the roof terrace they were good measures and well priced. The hotel was ideally situated for us to explore the city. The rooms are a bit dated, but perfectly adequate, they bathroom was clean and the toiletries plenty. We were a trio of girl friends in our 40's and 50's and it really was perfect for us. It may be a 2 Star hotel but the staff were as good as any from a 5 Star

The hotel has no parking. Just a public parking on the street, 1.20€ per hour, but the streets r very busy, we were lucky to find a place to park.

The only issue was the rug at the entrance. It was not attached to floor causing a large ripple which meant our door had trouble going over it. We had trouble opening and closing the door.

Perfect location. Walked everywhere. Room/bathroom was tight quarters. Everything worked well in room. The staff was very friendly. The elevator worked well. Clean hotel. The outside roof terrace nice for drink at night. The breakfast was good. Staff replenished everything immediately.

Breakfast for lactose intolerant: ok milk but I wrote before departure for milk and yogurt but there wasn't the yogurt. I asked to have it for the 2 remaing days but they never provide it

The staff! I’ve met all 4 receptionists who were on rotation during my stay last week and everyone of them are consistently very kind and sweet and helpful. It was a very warm welcome when I first arrived, and they would greet me every time. They gladly gave me tips about places to eat. The guy at the bar too was very kind when I went up to borrow utensils. Everyone was always smiling and so warm. The location was just perfect - very central but it doesn’t feel crowded outside. The rooms were very clean and smells so good as well.

Furniture is a bit old and worn out, rooms are a bit noisy.

The rooms were to small and the breakfast was the same every morning. There could have been more variety. Eggs and local bake goods would have been nice.

Location is very good. Close to metro stations and many bus lines in a nice area of town with some beautiful baroque style buildings. The staff were all very friendly, especially on reception. Breakfasts on the top floor offered good views over the rooftops and Av. Aliados and a good variety of food. Espresso only on request, though. Room was clean and comfortable and the en suite roomy. It's a good place to stay to explore Porto. 24 hour taxi stand is just around the corner, too.
