Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SpainIt was dated. And for a 2 star hotel was expensive. The breakfast was very basic the the croissants & cakes etc were stale. I do realise the kitchen was small but even so there could be a improvement.
The location was good. We had a room on the 8th floor adjacent to the staircase up to the breakfast room & cocktail bar. The staff were excellent. The cocktail bar was good & the view amazing.

GermanyOld room furnishes and small rooms with carpenters. No variation of breakfast menu. The room rate was a bit high for that. it took some time getting used to have a key instead of a electronic room card and to leave the keys at the reception when leaving the hotel.
The hotel is located in the center of Porto. A trainstation is available 1 walking minute from the hotel. The room is small and furnishes were simple but the room as well as the bathroom were well cleaned. My room was located in the staircase so it was quite noisy when people went to their rooms or to the breakfast room. The breakfast was not extraordinary but was good and enough. 7 € is a good price ratio for the breakfast. We could leave our luggage in a room on our last day until we went to the airport.

United KingdomWe tried the roof bar in the evening but sadly despite the lovely view nobody up there so not much of an atmosphere. Perhaps they need to advertise it to non-residents?
Location was perfect , a few minutes from all the sights and very convenient for getting to and from the airport. We loved the roof top restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast was very good - not an enormous buffet but had all the essentials and some lovely mini pastel de natas.

United StatesThe hotel lobby and the bathroom looks like they were fairly recently updated, the room and hallways do not. To me, they have an early 90's style and the wear of furniture etc. seems to bear that out. Also, the bed is quite close to the room door, which is not sound proofed in any way.
Excellent, unbeatable location about 10 min walk from the Douro river! This is the single best quality of this hotel, with Metro, coffee shops and attractions just minutes away on foot.

It was an amazing location just in the middle of the old city centre. Walkable to all the city highlights.We payed an extra 23 eur p/24 hours in a nearby parkinggarage with special reservated parking for hotel guests. That went smootly and well organized. The room is great and good beds with a big bathroom. All well equipped and absolute value for the money. Very clean and I defenitely recommand this hotel and would come back another time here !

CanadaMy room was on the second floor, but felt like it was in the basement. Windows were positioned high on the walls and were frosted so you couldn’t look out. I assume this was because they faced a wall or something like that but it gave the room an overall gloomy feel.
