Breakfast was terrible, cross contamination with bread and other food; coffee was awful. No eggs, vey basic not good. Very small rooms

Clean, friendly front desk staff, bathrooms are brand new and beautiful. Not like old pics. Close to restaurant and hospital. We stayed to be closer to hospital for family member in hospital.

    Nothing to report.

Very clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Very cordial reception staff. Wasn’t able to have breakfast, but Petulia Cafe next door to the hotel was very good.

The only issue we had with the area was the noise from late working hours at the nearby construction site which is not actually the hotel's fault, so not blaming them at all. To be honest. I think they're fed up with it too. And as I have said in my positive comment they didn't hesitate to offer us an alternative room at the front of the hotel which was quieter. But once it is finished it will make it even easier to explore from the hotel.

Loved the atmosphere at the hotel, the guys on reception were so polite and extremely helpful recommending places to eat and arranging taxis, and giving us directions. We had an issue with the noise late one night from nearby construction of the new subway, and they did not hesitate to move us the next morning into a room on the other side of the hotel which was much quieter. All in all, a very pleasant hotel for the price, with breakfast included as well. and I would definitely return on future trips to Porto.

The mattress was not so comfortable. On the first day I had some back pain, but after was everything okay. For a 4-star hotel, I would expect a better bed.

The location is very good. There are many restaurants around. The parking is also very good, you pay 14€ per day and its in front of the hotel.

We asked in advance for a late check in, 1 extra hour, as it was the 1st of January. The staff wasn't receptive to our ask and never considered giving it for free, instead asked us to pay half a day. It's not a huge deal breaker but considering it was the first day of the year and a bank holiday I'd expect them to be more flexible.

The hotel was great and it served our needs for the night. It actually exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness!

on booking we had selected two people, the price had been adjusted, then in the hotel staff said, we had to pay more, even though on our booking-confirmation there was written "for two person". Not very welcoming and stiff.

No real facilities, had small bar but wasn’t open. 30 mins walk to the old town but 10 minutes from the metro. Bizarrely there was no stopper for the bath or sink so we couldn’t use the bath and had to let the water run!! Hotel is dated needs an upgrade.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable, albeit basic.

The matras was a bit hard for my body and there is no fridge (with water) in the room, which I expected for that rate. The night i stayed there was a lot of bouncing on the walls outside on the street (sounded like that) which made my windows tremble. I couldn’t sleep because of that. Maybe it’s a one time situation. More important is that it’s not as conveniently located as hoped. The metro stop Casa da Music is a 10 min walk in a quiet area, but there are many busses passing by and bus stops close at the hotel.

Nice hotel, classic design and friendly staff. you can have breakfast there and it’s located next to a nice pastry/coffee shop where you can buy a bottle of wine or port. There is A/C and nice sheet and blankets.
