Lower numbered apartments are less climb on stairs. I chose 8 at the top but had a view across the Douro!!

Great view through smallish window. Quiet. About riverside level by some distance and around the corner from street bars if that’s your thing. I preferred the riverside and better choice of food etc. Streets are shadowed as narrow so enjoyed walking long distances finding allsorts of interesting places. Very good family cafés below just outside the front door. Pastel de nata and a coffee for under 3€. Local dishes are all good in cafés.

Alas, as it is an old building, the walls are paper thin so beware if you are sensitive to noises. You can hear people from outside and next door through the walls. The wooden floors make a lot of noise as well. Also, the sink in the bathroom is so small it is difficult to use, so we used the kitchen sink most of the time. Its faucet was however wobbly so we had to be especially careful while using it.

Exceptional location as the studio apartment is in the city center and gives you walking access to Porto’s main attractions and viewpoints. It is in an old traditional Portuguese building which gives it a lot of charm. Moreover, the kitchen corner is very well equipped with everything needed to store and cook your food. Overall our studio was really spacious as well for two people.

I was on my own in the end since my daughter did not come. The bed is only 1,40 so very small for 2 people and the bathroom is constructed in the middle of the room and very small. Right next to the bed. For a young couple that is fine but between the toilet and the bed is only 1m. There are very many stairs to climb up. Had I known that beforehand, I probably would have booked somewhere else. I planned the entire day not to have to go back to the apartment because of the stairs.

The location is brilliant, right in the centre close to the torre clerico. The view from the kitchen window is amazing! I was very cold the first night because it was unisually cold that week. They brought me an extra blanket as soon as I asked. Very helpful and good service! It was also very clean and in summer it must be beautiful!

It’s not cost its money. Bed sheets were awful, I’ve never seen such used, washed sheets. Princess on the Pea literally! Somewhere it has holes.. Also it made me scared the holes in the floor.. some of them seems like after fire and some due to termites.. dAir conditioner wasn’t working. Everything has a smell of using during the long time. Really needed to refresh!

Has perfect location in the center, very cute balcony. All kitchen goods are available.

I was located in the 1st apartment and could hear everyone that goes through to their rooms. There is no soundproofing at all so you will hear everything at anytime. The bed could have been a bit more comfortable and the bedsheets more breathable as I woke up drenched in sweat cause of the sheets. Be aware that you may encounter an old man who lives nearby and who likes to yell at any time of the day and will continue for a good while until he falls asleep and when he wakes up, will start again. He will bang on doors, may pick a fight with you or throw things at you. This is not something the lodging can control (I understand) but i did see the guy do this on 3 of the nights I was there.

in the building next door whoever lived on the 3rd floor hung a transistor radio from their balcony and played 70's and 80's rock music very loudly until past midnight every night. The position of the radio was only about 10 feet away from the studio window and it's all you could hear. It was very annoying and we had to sleep with the shutters closed to eliminate most, but not all, of the noise

Location was great, central to metro line and central porto. The room was not large but served its purpose, and being able to open the two doors to the balcony and watch what was happening on the street one story below was lovely.

The bathroom door needed some real effort to open and close it so you might struggle with that if you're older. Some black mould in the shower, didn't bother us though and still think the place was good value for money. The bed was quite hard but we actually liked that.

Great location, the check in was simple and easy. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Air con worked well. Balcony didn't have a view but still nice to have a little outside space.

I found it difficult to sleep there..sounds from outside (construction of the building from 7am), as well as inside, you can hear literally everything what is going on above you.. also if anyone walking on a stairs; I was awaken at 4, 5 am almost every day, people were coming back from the party. But its not an apartment fault I guess.

The apartment is located in the center, easy to walk anywhere. Lots of restaurants around. the apartment is clean, comfortable bed. Easy to check-in/check-out, support in case if any questions.

During our stay the wifi didn’t work, although the host was responsive and tried to fix it but still our wifi hardly worked. Our room was located close to a stairs and it can be noisy when guests are walking outside.

Main highlight of this place is the location, conveniently located, all the nearby tourist attractions are walkable. AC worked well.

Location was confortable, with all the things you need to prepare supper or brakfast. The bed was confortable, and the air conditioning was very useful to keep the rom dry.

We didn't use the hotplates but accidentally put something on it so it came on. We didn't know how to turn it off.

Great location and in Studio 8 we had a lovely view across the city [despite the rain]. The apartment was small but cosy and we loved being at the very top of the building. Kitchen was well equipped.

The collecting of the deposit and tax was quite difficult, setting up PayPal, Venmo or just cash on arrival would make it easier.

I wish the sick in a bathroom was larger. there was enough space for it but unfortunately the smallest one was placed, so to wash your face means there is water everywhere around. but this is a small silly thing :)

the location was great. the check in was all done remotely and all went smooth. our host was very nice and helpful with some recommendations about what to do in Porto.

The whole building is very clairaudient; you can hear a lot of what is going on in the flats next door/above/beyond. Also the street in front of the door, albeit a tiny and narrow one, is producing quite some noise typical for this neighbourhood. But around 22/23 H all is getting quite and one can have a good sleep. That one (poor) neighbours dog - kept inside almost all day long - is sometimes getting on ones nerves once he starts barking.

The person, Jose Manuel, who checked me in is very service oriented and a nice person. Also the administration you are contacting via bookings.com App is very fast and service oriented. Equipment of the appartment and the location are very good. Superb WiFi.

It looks bigger in the pictures. It doesnt have any wardrobe. Could have had hangers for the coats near to the entrance considering that is a rainny city. In the bathroom is nowhere to place toiletteries. No flexibility in late checkin time arrived at 11pm and have to pay 25€ extra.

The check in process - didn’t provide me with a number of the box to the key, so we waited for 40 minutes for a response, after arriving to the location (the agent didn’t even pick up the phone). Zero soundproofing, very worn out facilities. there was mould on the wall, bathroom door would not close and there was hair on the counters and on the floors. The advertised “balcony” is just an extension of room looking in the wall of another building.
