Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Everything! it is a beautiful boutique hotel in a stunning location. but what really makes this hotel experience is the lovely personable staff. Facilities are high class - buffet breakfast, rooms, spa etc A special mention must go to the concierge Giovanni who went above and beyond to make our stay special and to Veronique who looked after us so well and was genuinely interested in us as guests. We will definitely come back as each day it felt like coming home and we were sad to leave!

United KingdomAll quite minor gripes but: We were given a voucher for a "welcome drink" in the hotel bar but when we tried to use it, we were told it could only be used on a limited number of options, which was irritating and felt cheap. Coffee at breakfast was more often luke warm than hot. The Spa and pool are open from 10, which makes it difficult to have a swim before breakfast.
Our room was comfortable and reasonably spacious. The bathroom (shower only) was luxurious. There's a lovely balcony with a sea view. Staff are very helpful, efficient and friendly, the concierge deserves a special mention. Location is excellent, next to a series of lively beaches with bars, and there's a frequent bus service into central Porto. There are excellent restaurants nearby and we were also enjoyed a meal in the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant (advance booking recommended, we were lucky to get a cancellation).

One of the best hotels we have stayed in for years—great attention to detail. The food was terrific and the staff went out of their way to please. Guest relations manager, Veronica Amadio, handled any request with a smile and was ever-present. The breakfast was superb! Where do you find Moet & Chandon champagne and fresh Oysters on the breakfast buffet? Truly 5 stars...The rooms are a bit on the small side but were beautifully designed and comfortable.

No kids facilities, went as a couple, but might choose a different hotel if going with kids. Or maybe if I went with kids I may have seen what it would really be like for kids.
